Hammerfall is zeker een aanrader, en als je iets ruiger wilt gaan zou ik zeker ook Iced Earth proberen.

Melodische metal heb je zo'n beetje in alle metal subgenres, dus da's dan weer lastig te zeggen.
En over het algemeen worden bands als Iron Maiden (heavy-), Hammerfall (power-), Nightwish (power-), After Forever (gothic-)enzo dan weer niet onder melodisch gerekend 
(Ja, ik weet het, ik maak het er niet makkelijker op)
Sjah kan wel allemaal zomamar wat bands op gaan noemen...
