	Opnieuw aan het rondneuzen op imdb leverde het volgende op: http://us.imdb.com/Title?0318403 quote: Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog retell the story of The Lion King, from their own unique perspective. Zo te zien zijn bijna alle originele stemmen weer aanwezig. 	Het is een direct-to-video film. Kleiner budget, vaak slechtere animatie en teert op de naam "Lion King". Bekend trucje van Disney. Zelden een topper tussen de direct-to-video/dvd producties ben ik bang. Verder vaak gericht op de kleintjes meer nog dan het origineel.

	Had ik nog niet gezien (direct-to) ... maar de sidekicks zijn altijd de pluspnten in de disneyfilms. Van mij mogen ze ook een hele Mushu-film maken hoor
