Dit ga ik dus ook wel kopen denk ik. Ik wacht het even af, maar grote kans dat ik hem koop. Ik wil nl nog een PDA. En als je dan een PDA hebt waar je zo op kan gamen als deze

ik noem het gewoon Helix

ze doen het wel erg onhandig met de games hoor moet ik zeggen, als ik hem wil importeren dan bestel ik er graag ook een stapel games bij maar over de games is nog helemaal nix bekend en die pda software interesseert me geen drol, ik zet er een mp3 player op en evt een movieplayer en agenda en dan ben ik klaar

anders had ik in 1 bestelling dat ding games en wat randapparatuur kunnen bestellen ... dan bestel ik ze maar online en koop ik er aparte flashkaartjes voor om ze te bewaren

vraag me af hoe duur de games worden trouwens als je ze moet bestellen

En als je het spel dan niet leuk meer vind, kan je hem dan wissen en als gewone mem card gebruiken?

ik denk alleen niet dat je die kunt wissen want dan worden ze duurder lijkt me (zelfde als bij gba cards), je zal ze maar 1x kunnen beschrijven denk ik ... vergelijk het met een normale cd en een cdrw

vorig jaar was ik trouwens in alkmaar bij Karma Studio's en die waren ook zoiets van plan met hun mobiele gaming shit.
Dan zetten ze de games online en dan betaal je dus voor een password ofzo waarmee je ze kan downloaden en dus ook als je ze kwijt bent (mobiele telefoons hebben meestal maar ruimte voor 1 game) later nog is kunt downloaden als je het weer wil spelen

De Zodiac komt in eerste instantie in twee uitvoeringen: een met 32MB intern geheugen en een met 128MB. Twee SD-slots zijn aanwezig via welke het geheugen kan worden uitgebreid of apparaten met een SDIO-interface kunnen worden aangesloten. Communicatie met andere apparaten verloopt via Bluetooth of USB. Vanaf het midden van deze maand kunnen de eerste exemplaren besteld worden via de website van het bedrijf, vanaf oktober zullen de bestellingen uitgevoerd worden. De 32MB-versie gaat 299 dollar kosten, de 128MB-versie 100 dollar meer. Met de lancering zullen direct zo'n twintig spellen ŕ 30 dollar beschikbaar zijn en voorlopig is het apparaat alleen online te bestellen.

Handmark and Spiffcode have teamed up to release one of the best looking and playing RTS (Real Time Stategy) games for any PDA. Warfare Incorporated is one of the few multiplatform RTS Strategy games around. Warfare supports Palm's grayscale, 160x160 color, 320x320, and 320x480 resolutions. On a few models, such as the Zodiac, UX and *probably* the future T3 it will also support landscape mode at a 480x320 resolution. On the Pocket PC side of things it supports 240x320 and landscape mode on all Pocket PC's at 320x240. On my NX60 which uses the resolution of 320x480, the graphics are nothing short of beautiful!

The Story

You are a miner at ACME Corporation which has landed on a newly found planet, Icarus. Jana, the Senior Scientist at ACME Corp reports from the planet that there is a "MASSIVE" amount of Galaxite, the money of the game. Other than the galaxite there is also an unatural structure on the planet which is being investigated by ACME's science team.

You, Andy in the game, are sent down to the planet to mine Galaxite on a "safe" surface. This should have been the mission commander, Gordon Fox's, job but he has disappeared after taking a shuttle to the planet. Your first mission is the mine 3,500 credits. And then, the game begins.

The Beginning

The game is perfect for all of you newbies to RTS games out there, as well as the experienced ones. As you start the game and accomplish some minor objectives such as building your base, popups will appear telling you how to procede. This may be a little annoying to the very experienced user, but is definitely necessary to get the average gamer acquainted with the style of the game. Once you are done with this mini tutorial you are set for the game. If ever you need any help during the game, all you have to do is click on the menu button in the buttom left of the screen and the help button. An easily navigatable help menu will appear that contains everything you need to know about the game.

Graphics

You can be the judge of the graphics of this game by seeing the screenshots at Handmark and in this preview. My opinion, as I am sure yours will be, is that the graphics of this game are top-notch for both Palm and Pocket PC. The animations are smooth, the textures are great, and the attention to detail is astounding. If games were judged solely by their graphics, then this one would instantly be a winner!

Sound

Whether you are playing the game on a Pocket PC, an OS 5 Sony/Palm or any other device (even ones with piezo speakers), you will hear your units acknowledge orders by saying "Yes sir" or "On my way", the sound of artillery fire, as well as many other sounds which extremely help the game. Even if you can't see all of your units, you will be aware of it if they are in any danger by simply listening. If you suddenly hear the sounds of dying and firing of guns, glance quickly on the map, find your units, click on the place where they are at on the map and aid them in the battle.

Control

Controlling the units is easier than one would think. I have seen a few complaints on message-boards that from the screenshots, the units appear to be too small for them to be able to control. In my case, I was able to control the units with ease. When you tap on the units, a white box will appear around them with another box filled with green (if the unit is healthy), and they will say something like "Ready sir". If you want them to attack the enemy, just tap on the enemy unit that you want your unit to attack. You can also tap on any place on the map and they will find their way there. The hardkeys can help you move your way around the map. The Date Book and Address Book move the map to the left, the up and down buttons move the map up/down, and the Todo List/Memo Pad moves the map to the right. I did not have a Pocket PC to test the game with but I assume that it is similar on those devices.
