As a discerning film-viewer, I have to personally say that I thoroughly enjoy it, regardless of the number of times I've seen it. Matter of fact, I just purchased it on DVD, and it was well worth it. (My only disappointment is that there aren't any deleted scenes included. I love to see what was left on the editing floor.) Anyhow, the characters are well developed, the filmography is enjoyable as well as engaging, and the storyline is excellent -- clever, intriguing, and original.
Bear in mind that it is a comedy, and there are certain parts that border between the obviously comedic and the subtly dramatic. But such is the nature of the beast with a comedic thriller. I'd actually say it's the best of its genre -- and seeing as the genre itself isn't teeming with truly good films -- I don't think I'll be overly opposed.

this movie is unbelievable! after a couple of minutes, you´ll get into the movie and enjoy it like a long perfect joyride. the plotline is so perfect, especially in the end during the hospitalscene, when everything comes together, past and present. the special effects are perfect, no wonder as 
is the director. the only thing is, can anyone explain the first scene to me? it doesn´t make any sense, considering the rest of the movie.
Naar aanleiding van die ziekenhuisscene op het eind Misschien in Amerika al op dvd ..... ?

It's not the kind of film you'd expect from 
, but it's a film you SHOULD expect from . =)
I really love the way this film mixes many clichés and many fresh ideas into one interconnected story. Of course, it's not an art film like 
, but it's very entertaining and everything is in the right place.
It creates its own world with weird rules which is crazy and intelligent at the same time. (Can a ghost kill another ghost? Of course he can! He just needs a ghost UZI. =)
