Maarreh, effe serieus... ik heb de trailer gezien, en DIE zag er helemaaaal niet verkeerd uit... ik hoop maar dat íe beter is dan het boek (net zo goed als TSOTL is valse hoop).

Ik heb alleen Silence of the Lambs gezien (supa!!!) en er zijn nog meer films met Hannibil Lecter,of niet?Kan iemand mij een overzichtje geven van alle boeken,dan gaan we deez week maar weer eens naar de bieb.

De boeken (red dragon, silence of the lambs en hannibal) zijn stuk voor stuk juweeltjes.
Echt aan te raden!

Borrowing some black humor from the movie itself, New York Times critic Elvis Mitchell says that Hannibal is "a movie meant for the whole family -- the Manson family." Stephen Hunter in the Washington Post follows suit, describing the film's much-talked-about final ten minutes this way: "Possibly it is every Washington journalist's most vivid fantasy: not merely a meal with a spokesman, a common if odious Washington ritual, but a meal of a spokesman!" Rick Groen in the Toronto Globe & Mail takes a more serious view of those scenes: "Yes, the climax is memorable all right, but for all the wrong reasons -- this is just gawdy spectacle stripped of any larger purpose. Watching it, you feel less a willing accomplice in a horror flick than a guilty voyeur in a freak show." Philip Wuntch in the Dallas Morning News is one of the few reviewers to give the film high marks (in Wuntch's case, a B+). He writes: "Hannibal, the sequel to The Silence of the Lambs, is not 'as good' as its predecessor. But the general public will find it more entertaining." And Roger Ebert in the Chicago Sun-Times, while bestowing only 2 1/2 stars on the film, does allow: "I'm left with admiration for Scott's craft in pulling this off at all, and making it watchable and (for some, I'm sure) entertaining." There is also this left-handed compliment paid to the film by Mick LaSalle in the San Francisco Chronicle: "The picture is willfully gross, fundamentally stupid and in no way worth the discomfort of watching it. Yet it may be the most well-crafted piece of garbage this year."

Lijkt me een zeer goede film.
De trailer zag er iig goed uit.

SOTL was een kalme film. Ontzettend disturbing en spannend, maar wel rustig neergezet. Ik heb het idee dat deze film een soort halve actiefilm wordt. En daar zit ik niet echt op te wachten.

Weet iemand trouwens hoe het komt dat de film eind februari al in Nederland uit is?? Zo snel na de US release??
