Enemy At The Gates?
Jouw beurt!
Nieuwe vraag.... Welke film? ![]()
"This is one of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen .The first thirty minutes are even promising , but then everything becomes f***ed up. Nothing rescues this film ."
"The acting is excellent. *** almost seems typecast (you can typecast ***?), but *** is excellent, and *** detached and surreal performance is quite different from his usual machismo. It doesn't take a lot to make you feel sorry for for *** (the script does that well enough) but ***'s one of those guys you point to and say "Hey, I've seen him!" (most likely in Scream) so the role is well covered. Also, one of the supporting members, ***, injects quite a bit of life into one of the duller characters, ***, who *** didn't give a whole lot of attention to in the book, as I recall. The score is very moody and additive, and very well done: but it's not of the kind that you can seperate the two and still have an excellent soundtrack, which is unfortunate."
"When the break in quality occurs, it seems instantly noticeable. The scenes of suspense become poorly edited and make little sense..."
"With a cast like this you gotta have high hopes. With a director and a writer to match you deserve something fantastic! And for the most part this delivers. The build up is dark, mysterious and exciting. However once the *** is found it goes downhill. It still has some really good moments the *** bit is scary and other actions bits are cool. But it gets all muddled up in what the *** is and who is doing what on the base. It almost manages to hold together until the final half hour then it all just collapses like a flan in a cupboard!"

Panic Room?
"I thought this movie was too long. If about 20 to 30 minutes of maudlin dramatics were cut out and maybe some clues given about who or why the *** is there at all it would have been a better movie. The acting is well done though it can't overcome the lack of script. I especially liked Peter *** as the tight lipped bureacrate and **** as the down to earth phychologist. "

Nog een comment, daarna andere hints...
"For example, much of the dialogue is extremely irritating, with the characters constantly questioning each other, and failing to communicate effectively. At other times, the dialogue falls into triteness, such as the discussion about the supposed rivalry between Harry and Ted over which of them is the most brilliant scientist; and the recriminations over a past affair between Norman and Beth, with one terrible line when *** apologises for his "inappropriate" behaviour.
