Er zijn aantekeningen gemaakt van Trump's dagelijkse pogingen acting AG Rosen te overtuigen van gepleegde 'fraude' in zijn pogingen de verkiezingsoverwinning naar zich toe te trekken.

That posture — which the letter to Rosen calls a departure from normal agency practice — means that individuals who are questioned by Congress would not have to say the conversations with the president were off-limits. They would be able to share details that give a firsthand account of Trump’s frantic attempts to overturn the 2020 election and involve the Justice Department in that effort.

AG Garland waarschuwt Gov. Greg Abbott (Texas) die iets nieuws had verzonnen om het immigranten moeilijker te maken:

The executive order states that the new policy is warranted because of President Joe Biden's "refusal to enforce laws passed by the United States Congress" and the measure is aimed at protecting Texans from exposure to COVID-19.
Garland said the order "would jeopardize the health and safety of noncitizens in federal government custody" and it will also interfere with the implementation of federal immigration law.

1 ding doet hij wel slim. Hij zit niet echt in de Trump hoek en daarmee houdt hij zichzelf wel wat duurzamer relevant. Hij kruipt er af en toe in als het hem zelf goed uitkomt.
En hij komt ook wel eens op MSNBC. Dat vind ik dan wel weer lef getuigen. Dat hij dan inhoudelijk volledig weggeblazen wordt is erg vermakelijk.
