Gisteren rond een uur of vier een interessant interview op BNR met Jelle van Buuren geluisterd. Op zich, allemaal redelijke punten voorbij horen komen.. het leek me interessant om eens twee uitersten naast elkaar te zetten.
Enerzijds, de terrorismebestrijder die (terecht) waarschuwd voor LoneWolfs en Pegasus rechtvaardigd.. anderzijds, personen die diep in de materie gaan erachter en Pegasus verguizen als (onrechtmatige en dus strafbare) spionage met Israel als hoofd belanghebbende.
Ligt de waarheid in het midden?
Suggestieve vraag: Is de timing en inhoud van van het interview niet ietwat dubieus, juist als Pegasus zeer kwalijk in het nieuws komt, daarmee Damage Control? Evenzo is dit voor Israël-bashers weer een uitgelezen kans om erop te springen.
Het is verdraaid lastig beide uitersten te peilen, op vorm en inhoud en kennis en uiteindelijk betrouwbaarheid.
Qua vorm, Jelle heeft de goedkeuring en het vertrouwen mee van de overheid en is hooggeschoold, Adam Green zn materiaal ziet er uit zoals zoveel conspiracy filmpjes, en heeft alle schijn tegen.. Jelle wint.
Qua inhoud, ben ik minder zeker van Jelle gezien hij niet laat doorschemeren, wát hij weet. En dus, of hij 'liegt in commissie' en doet, wat hij denkt dat oprecht goed is voor onze veiligheid. Adam Green daarentegen heeft mij althans, al veel interessante informatie gegeven en bizarre inzichten in de schemerwereld van zijn "hoofd onderwerp"
Als Jelle niet álle ins en outs kent, en dat ook niet kenbaar maakt, hoeveel is vertrouwen in hem dan waard? Dat geldt evenzo voor Adam Green en zn gast, echter hun belang is een andere dan die van Jelle. Zij lopen tevens meer risico dan Jelle, krijgen minder betaald dan Jelle, enz.

De voortvluchtige complotdenker Micha Kat (58) is gisteravond in Noord-Ierland opgepakt op verzoek van de Nederlandse autoriteiten, zo bevestigt het Openbaar Ministerie in Den Haag. De omstreden vlogger hangt in Nederland een celstraf van minimaal zes maanden boven het hoofd. Onder meer het RIVM deed aangifte tegen de omstreden publicist, omdat hij al sinds het begin van de coronacrisis een haatcampagne tegen Jaap van Dissel voert. De rechter in Belfast beslist op zaterdag 7 augustus of Kat wordt overgeleverd aan Nederland.

You are right to question the preliminary vaccine trial results. This is not acceptable scientific methodology for vaccine trials.
You are correct in your calls for a diversity of scientific opinions. Like in nature, we need a polyculture of information and its interpretations. And we don’t have that right now.
