Here are answers from various different sources mostly from soldier/commander videos on fb/youtube/instagram
Why multiple layers of defensive lines have not been prepared before the war?
Because we thought we will not retreat and have fortified those positions (more in aa question) arabo commander manvel said we fucked up in not having many lines to retreat to proper positions and we did not have capability to quickly reinforce positions with concrete etc. He said we needed that. He also said when azeri advanced they right away fortified the positions they took with structures qnd we need to so that too. Also said soldiers heads qre open and they die from the air.
Did the enemy discover our AA deployment locations or was the information passed by traitors?
They sent those old unmanned soviet planes first. We shot them down with our AA and reported on detryoing massive ammount on their equipment in first days. They filmed those planes being taken down by our aa by tb2 and other drones. Few days lsater they wrecked our quite extensive AA with drones as they knew the positions. Basically they tricked us and after this it got easier to attack specially on flatlands where most of our artillery got wiped out too from the air. 90% of our deaths csme from air.
How and to what extent exactly were Armenian Armed Forces involved in the war?
Why wasn't there mobilization?
This has not been answered in any source but opposition does not ask it either. Maybe all we had was volunteers and artsakh army or we sent Armenian soldiers and they failed or fled and thsts why no word.
Did we ever get some control over the drone threat or the lower intensity of drone strikes was purely due to the weather?
We had little success but that did not help in big picture. Remember north and center lines held well. Drones worked to terrorize our logistics and take out aa and depots/army buildings.
Why officers were allowed to disobey orders and/or desert?
Who were those officers starting from generals and down to lieutenants?
Well they had no one to monitor them. Many likely had low morale torwars new gov jailing their previous bosses and they were not asked to fancy parties. Many likely deserted when they understood we have no chance and saying is certain desth for them and their troops.
Were sufficient reserves sent to the southern front after the breakthrough and if yes why they didn't perform?
Why the enemy tactical companies were allowed to roam in our area of control?
Our army thought they Will advance from south to lachin and attack stepanekert from there after hadrut fell. We sent troops there but they saw little battle. Qubadli was taken by enemy with 3 cars and their men because we had again wrong guys in wrong place. We did not know they used south to go through mountains and forest with equipment and special forces to attack shushi. We found out the hard way when our small volunteer teams met these 200-300 azeri units and died or fled. We could not stop those teams in mountains and forests. They surprised us and we had small volungeer units against special ops.
What happened in the Jabrail counterattack?
What happened in the Zangelan counterattack?
One failed badly we were out in the open, they hsd vision on us from the sky and killed our guys with cluster bombs
do not know about the other.
What happened in Hadrut?
We lost the city to that team of 200-300. We had guys on top of valley but only locals in the city snd they could not resist. After they took it there was fighting going on for some time but we never recovered it. Arayik said 1500 fled but we can not
trust him 100% he is also fighting for his job now. Maybe the problems is there were not enough men there in the first place. My relatives fled when bullets were flying snd they never saw 1500 of our soldiers near let alone running away.
What was the state of the Lachin road?
It got bombed with qrtillery and drones so usable first then very compromised for heavy traffic.
How the enemy infantry was allowed to approach Shushi acting without armor support?
How the enemy was able to take Shushi despite its overwhelming geographical advantage?
We were somewhat surprised where they came from and shushi was not that well defended despite the myths. They first took the elektrokyan which is first when you come from yerevan. It was defended by young guys who were office workers and hsd not seen war. Thats why the enemy had small losses there. From there you have accees to city qnd they got in and advanced. We will learn more later about our counterattacks and what happened.
Why the Stepanakert defenders ended up with just 100-200 men and why the defensive positions were not prepared in advance?
We had more near the city but things were very uncoordinated and a mess at this point. We had not really prepared for their advances as we did not find it likely before the war. Also stepanakert is wqy too big to hold with even 500 when the enemy has drones or shushi.
At what point exactly it was decided to stop the war, considering the peacekeepers started arriving to Armenia while the battles were still going on?
This one we will never get to know or it takes 40 years for one of nikols babybosses grow up enough to write a biography where it is told
