SPOILER
Listen, I hear you're a rapper! Well, I got a rap for yo ass!

And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm

Yeah, turn it up
Uh, uh
We gon' go all the way this time
Yeah

[Verse 1]
Born criminal, that's how they made me
Even before the day that my mama named me
Born in the ghetto, reincarnation of slavery
Think outside of the box and niggas gon' tell you you're crazy
Shit was hard, but you know I love a challenge
Grew up around the hustlers supplyin' all the addicts, huh
A gun is just a object made of steel, y'all
Actually, the facts is the mentality that kill y'all
Look, I hear what they never say
If everybody equal, why my race on the resume?
Nonsense, my intelligence is progress
Congress see us as baby mamas and convicts
Nah, uh-uh, fuck that - I'm more like a god
And my queen is a goddess, as God is my conscience
I love every race, every gender, that's a fact
But the skin that I'm in, they just won't let me forget that I'm
[Chorus: Sample & Jon Connor]
I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm

Uh, ow, I feel it in the kick drum, and I'm
Whew, let me say it again, go on get it [?]
Uh, for the niggas in the back of the room, lookin' at me sideways
Listen what a bassline bring up
Ow!

[Verse 2]
Twenty miles-an-hour on Dayton Ave
The coppers on my black ass
I pull the fuck over, my intuition don't feel right
I know the procedure for being black after midnight
I'm feelin' uncomfortable and I know I ain't done shit
'Cause he talkin' crazy just to remind me who run shit
He hope I'm a nigga who down to die for some dumb shit
Man, I ain't the one, bitch
This to the rappers and athletes who think they're invincible
Tell that to the judge, nigga (look)
I do not fear nothin', I'm God in the physical (uh)
Holdin' my nuts, nigga (look)
I speak no evil, just making sure we know
That we're more than trappers and rap songs and free throws
And strippers and weed smoke that bust shots then reload
And it don't mean I hate you when I uplift my people, I'm
[Chorus]
I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm black, y'all, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm blacker than black, and I'm black, y'all
And I'm

Watch who you talkin' to, no I ain't playin with ya
Way up in the cheap seats, and I'm
I wanna feel it in my chest, y'all, and I'm
Take it to the bridge, ow!

[Bridge: Sample, Jon Connor, Sister Tour]
We have got to stop sacrificing our sisters to the streets and our brothers to drugs
Now let the queen say:
My niggas ain't scared of revolution
My bitches ain't scared of revolution
I said I'm black, and I'm a queen (yeah, yeah)
And if you try me you'll see what I mean (I'm black as hell, nigga)
Uh, I'm tryna tell y'all, this is a warning to prepare y'all (ooh)
Uh, I'm tryna tell y'all, this is a warning to prepare y'all (yeah, yeah)
Look, now we gon' air it out, now we gon' air it out
Now we gon' air it out, said we gon' air it out
Now we gon' (beatboxing)
One more time, we gon' air it out
[Outro]
Aw shit
I got my [?] ready up in the air
I'm a champion, I got blue blood, boy
And I'm ready, and on my mama, nigga
On my daddy, nigga
And I dare you to say something about my daddy, nigga
You feel this, nigga?
Black rocks, nigga!
Black girls rock, nigga!
Black men rock, nigga!
Black boys rock, nigga!
Black girls rock, nigga!
You got one more time, and I mean one more motherfuckin' time
I'ma come to your house and fuck your shit up myself!
Do you know the greatest thing about being a royal? Huh?
You know the greatest thing about being set apart from the rest of society?
Is that you ain't got nothing to fear

...dit uit 1985 schreeuwt verder om een 2020-remix, als je naar die tekst luistert. Mooi liedje trouwens.

Kennelijk levert BLM ook het volgende op.

https://www.nytimes.com/2(...)-lady-a-lawsuit.html

White Privelege band verandert naam vanwege de slavernij discussie en gaat vervolgens een zwarte artieste aanklagen die de nieuwe naam Lady A. al langer gebruikt dan dat Lady Antebellum heeft bestaan....
