Trump lied and said the money was reimbursement for helping out after the attacks, it wasn't.
9 Finally, in 2016, 15 years after 9/11 happened and in the middle of his presidential campaign, Trump finally does something for 9/11 (that isn't being a lying, greedy, piece of shit). He has his Trump Foundation donate $100,000 to the 9/11 Museum Memorial --- days before the New York primary.
But understand, that wasn't Trump's own money. He hadn't given a dime to his Foundation in years. So Trump donated $100,000 of other people's money to the 9/11 Museum to help his campaign.

“These new documents raise serious questions about whether the White House is willing to place the potential profits of the President’s friends above the national security of the American people and the universal objective of preventing the spread of nuclear weapons,” according to the report.
The investigative report was completed late last week but is being released on the heels of a barrage of critical tweets by President Trump targeting the Maryland Democrat and his Baltimore district. There is no indication Trump knew the report was imminent.
The White House did not cooperate with the investigation, providing none of the documents requested. Congressional investigators said documents they did recover showed that some Trump administration officials used personal email accounts to communicate with executives from private companies pushing the plan. In several instances, it was “unclear” if those officials “took steps to preserve this email as required by the Presidential Records Act,” the report said.

Dat alles zonder enige context of achtergrond van de bestaande problemen (structurele ongelijkheid bevolkingsgroepen, zwaar gegerrymanderde districten) en gebracht alsof heel Baltimore één groot rampgebied is.
Kimberly geniet geweldig van de aandacht van POTUS ("The President saw my work. This just made my day") en wordt door Fox als 'Republican strategist' afgeschilderd maar heeft nog nooit aan een campagne deelgenomen. Haar biografie vermeldt dat ze in de 'hospitality industry' gewerkt heeft en dat ze schreef voor een rechtse blog genaamd 'Politichicks Nation'.
Op vragen naar haar 'titels' en haar 'journalistieke' expertise gaf ze geen antwoord maar zei wel: "you can call me, 'The woman that cared about Baltimore.'"
