Aankomende weekend is de volgende IndyCar race alweer op de oval van de Texas Motorsport Speedway. De race is in de nacht van zaterdag op zondag om 02.45 uur.
Max Chilton zal in ieder geval niet aan de start verschijnen, want hij vindt het rijden op ovals maar niets en laat die aan zich voorbij gaan. Conor Daly neemt voor deze race zijn plek in.
Daarnaast komen naast de full time coureurs komen ook Charlie Kimball en Ed Carpenter in actie.
Ook Patricio O'Ward laat de twee ovals waarop hij zou rijden dit seizoen aan zich voorbij gaan. Maar dan om budgettaire redenen. Al is het überhaupt nog maar de vraag of hij dit seizoen een IndyCar race rijdt. Zijn budget is (mede door de crash in de aanloop naar de Indy 500) al op.
