De IndyCar heeft afgelopen week en deze week getest met een halo met aeroscreen. Het zicht in de regen zou beter zijn dan zonder aeroscreen omdat de regen beter verspreid wordt dan op de helm.

Gisteren heeft Rinus Van Kalmthout op het circuit van Mid-Ohio weer getest voor Ed Carpenter Racing.

Naar eigen zeggen heeft hij het supergoed gedaan en tijden gereden die hem in de top 3 van de eerder dit jaar gereden tijden zou brengen.

Rahal en Coyne zijn beiden geïnteresseerd. Alleen is het de vraag of ze genoeg budget bij elkaar kunnen krijgen voor een derde auto.

Hulman and Co has sold the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the IndyCar Series, IMS Productions and associated subsidiaries to Penske Entertainment Corp.; a subsidiary of Penske Corp.

The sale was jointly announced by both parties on Monday morning.

No further details have been released, although Hulman and Co President and CEO Mark Miles, Tony George and Roger Penske are scheduled to speak to the media later this morning.

De Hulk schijnt niet zoveel trek te hebben in ovals, dus als het doorgaat verwacht ik hem parttime samen met Carpenter in de #20 en Rinus fulltime in de #21

De bron heeft een update geplaatst waarin staat dat Rinus het hele seizoen gaat rijden en de Hulk samen met Carpenter de andere auto gaat besturen. Zoals ik hierboven al schetste, dus.
