Yes als je iets wil weten, vragen staat vrij. Heb er nu flink wat uren in zitten

Blijf bij wat ik vanaf t begin al zei, de game heeft potentie maar het kan/zal even duren voor dit er uit komt, als ze het er al uit halen.

Missies kan je solo spelen maar is niet altijd handig.. En freeplay moet je met anderen spelen

Yes, en dat zelfs op alle moeilijkheidsgraden (je kan je settings op private zetten, dan kan niemand in je game, maar je moet wel online zijn)

Casual is zelfs heel goed te doen, de game is vrij makkelijk op easy/normal

Zelf vind ik de game juist leuker worden hoe moeilijker t wordt, dus zit nu op de een na moeilijkste moeilijkheidsgraad te grinden.

- Content. There is at least 40-60 hours content in the game at launch, with campaign, freeplay, trials, contracts and endgame. Anthem is well worth the 60 dollars, the base game already, anyone who says otherwise didn't even play it (Upper Echelon Gamers only had an Xbox early access, playing only 10 hours for example) or is seriously burnt out on games.

- Anthem has a series-like format, and not "chopped up content". The format was always going to be like an HBO series, so a lot of content is already developed of course, to be shipped every month, for free. You had to pay for the chopped up Destiny 1 DLCs, that was a very different situation! And if you don't like the format and want to burn through 6 strongholds at launch already, then this format is not for you. But strongholds are coming, and story, and much more.

- The story is a true Bioware-style story. It is not as good as a Mass Effect campaign, but characters and conversations are nuanced, fun, and you will enjoy the endgame way more after the campaign, because you do it in a living breathing world. I actually thought I was going to hate running around in Fort Tarsis, but the characters and conversations are good enough that I started to look forward to it in between missions. - Loading screen issue is bad but blown out of proportion. Bloodborne had 2-3 minute loading screens. This may not be Anthem's fault, but a natural boundary of the console. Anthem is not Fortnite, where you don't have many assets and beautiful graphics to load in. What is true is that there are too many loading screens, and that the tethering is awful, let's hope that will be fixed.

- The tomb quest is actually well placed in the campaign, after an important turn in the story, enabling you to delve deeper into the open world, introducing mechanics and things in the meantime. It is not a chore, because the open world is beautiful and interesting. I can understand that someone doesn't like it, but Yongyea calling it the worst quest he ever played tells a lot about his niche on youtube...

- Cosmetic monetization is fair. Ongoing live service games you have to choose an ongoing monetization model, to pay for ongoing maintenance and development. The options are mostly: 1) entry price + paid DLC; 2) entry price + purchasable cosmetics; 3) free to play + lootboxes (mostly with a throttled progression which makes it hard to earn lootboxes through gameplay, see Apex after level 40). Bioware chose the cosmetics monetization model. The 8 dollar skins provide all the free content coming for years.

- Bioware's responsiveness is extraordinary. Real issues with the game are there of course! But Bioware is not handling Anthem like Bungie handled Destiny and Bethesda handled Fallout 76! Bioware did earn our benefit of the doubt, that they are not partying instead of developing this goddamn game. If you are into this type of games, you know already, that their development is really hard and riddled with problems even after launch; but not always because the developers were "lazy" or "egregious". If you have a cynical grin on your mouth reading this... then hit that downvote button and go watch another 10 minute long youtube video on a nontroversy.

Edit: It is hate that drives most of the "hard passers". The internet creates pockets of mobs here and there, simply because hate can be an enjoyable, addictive feeling. There were times where hate was justifiable and useful, namely against Battlefront 2 lootboxes and maybe against Bethesda lately.

But then this behavior is so enjoyable (it's brain chemistry, it is addictive), that it snowballs into fields where it is not justifiable and it inhibits real and constructive feedback.

I dislike Jason Schreier but he was right in one thing: creating outrage out of every goddamn tiny issue blurs the line and discredits real issues in the end.

I can quadruple down on the fact, that Anthem is awesome with some minor flaws, very well worth the 60 dollars. And yes, almost anyone saying otherwise after playing it for 30+ hours, has an underlying chemical predisposition of malicious intent, complaining just for the kick of it. This mob (spearheaded by youtubers with 500k subs) is big and loud enough that it convinces non-suspecting gamers that Anthem is bad and not worth 60 dollars.

I'm not talking about that 20% who have real negative feedback. I'm talking about all those who actively bend the truth into non-truth, because the joy of bending, tearing and breaking. I am here to make different sounds than barking with hate, because this trash behavior needs counter-measures.

TL;DR

Don't believe all those who can't even enjoy games anymore, so they get hooked by rage, cause it feels good at least. They are happy to jump on the smallest nontroversy to blow it out of proportion. Most of the haters probably haven't even played it, or not more than 10 hours. Because otherwise the awesomeness easily overwhelms the issues, and the game creates a state of "hopeful criticism", and not a state of "hard pass cynicism".

Ik heb de demo gespeeld. En ik kon wel samen met iemand de missie spelen.|

Eerste keer werden we gematched met 2 andere, maar je kan het zo instellen dat je niemand erbij wilt hebben. Hoe weet ik niet, want ik speelde met iemand anders.
Ik speel sowieso altijd met een groepje van 4. Dus het maakt mij niet zo heel veel uit.

Ik twijfel nog enorm over de game :) Als ik hem koop, dan pas eind maart. Dan ben ik terug in NL. Hier is alles vertaald in het spaans :r

Ik heb wel Destiny 1 en 2 gespeeld. En heb me prima vermaakt. Met 1 meer dan met 2.

Anthem is een redelijke flop als ik de reviews zo bekijk overal.

Niet zo vreemd ook, leeg, saai,.. saai.

Dat is de algemene opvatting.

En zoals ik zelf al meteen zag vanaf de aankondiging, een hoog "destiny" vibe gehalte, maar dan met nog minder verhaal en nog langere laadtijden die er niet in zouden zitten. :')

Zelf nu al twee dagen gespeeld via Origin Access om eens te kijken of het was is gezien de vele (slechte) reviews maar ook wel weer positieve geluiden.

Spel hem nu op de PC maar moet heel erg wennen aan de controls, ben een PS4 controler gewend en volgens mij speelt Anthem veel lekkerder op een console / met een controler.

De gameplay vind ik wel erg leuk maar de hele UI is erg verwarrend en slecht uitgedacht. Het spel voelt voor mij niet logisch qua opzet en het vele (korte) laden maakt het er niet beter op.

Vanavond wordt loot 1.5 geïntroduceerd. Overal las je verhalen van mensen die nooit loot vonden. Moet zeggen dat ik vandaag (pre patch) nog heb zitten spelen maar ik heb echt veel dingen gevonden :Y

Benieuwd hoe dit na de patch wordt, als het goed is vind je op lvl 30 niets meer onder 'blue' drops, dus meer kans op MW en legendary's

MW's zijn zegmaar de legendary's uit diablo, en de legendary's zijn vergelijkbaar met de acients in diablo.

De guns hebben vanaf mw unieke stats (zoals 3x iemand critten en je doet 10sec extra dmg enzo) en zijn een flink stuk sterker dan de normale guns

Wat ik tof vind is vooral z'n devostator (sniper met ontploffende ammo). Dan richt je op zn groep mobs en maak je zn groep in 1x dood, of je maakt een crit van 800k ofzo. Dat vind ik tof.

Stil hier, ik had ook 10 uur demo via origin access en heb het spel toch gekocht, met de belofte van uitbreidingen en het best leuke verhaal, en de erg goed functionerende matchmaking heb ik er al best wat uren lol aan beleefd. Alleen de customization is ietwat matig, de extra parts/skins etc zijn vrij duur, ingame currency betekend veel grinden, en ik ga echt geen extra euros meer in het spel spelen voor een kleurtje of een minimaal gewijzigde armor.

Er zou deze maand toch een update komen met nieuwe content? Ik speel het bijna dagelijks even en vermaak me echt super met dit spel. Beetje verstand op nul en snelle actie hou ik wel van. Vanavond ga ik online weer. Als je behoefte heb om coop te spelen voeg me gerust toe op ps4. Endechaos heet ik ook daar. Ik zie het wel!

Dit. Gisteren in geruild. Endgame en de huidige content is gewoon veel te karig. Bioware die niet reageert op de klachten op de reddit forums terwijl ze dat eerst wel deden. Jammer.

Additional reduction and tuning to health of The Monitor boss fight in the Heart of Rage stronghold

Inscriptions:

Corrected several inscriptions where the magazine size was referred to as “clip”. Fixed to say “magazine” or “mag” (e.g. +X% Weap Mag Size”).

The hip fire inscription bonus will no longer be applied to Sniper Rifles.

The “Support +X% Luck” inscription has had its text changed to “+X% Luck”.

The Weapon Reload stat inscription was not correctly applying to player weapons and has been corrected

Fixed text on Blast Damage inscription so that it no longer includes “Weap” in the text to more clearly convey that it applies to all blast damage not just to weapons.

Was: Upgraded Burning Orb - Combo Effect: Chain. Striker's Wrath: After hitting an enemy, gain 5% increased damage for 5 seconds stacking to 20.

Now: Upgraded Burning Orb - Combo Effect: Chain. Striker's Wrath: After hitting an enemy, gain 10% increased damage for 10 seconds stacking to 10.

Black Ice

Changed to hitting an enemy freezes nearby creatures (was defeating an enemy). Note: Must sustain the beam on a single creature for the duration of the ability.

Inscriptions:

As part of our effort to improve inscription ease of use all inscription values now have the +/- value at the beginning of the state line rather than after any text. For example:

“Supply +X% Drop Rate” will now read as “+X% Supply Drop Rate”.

This has been applied to all inscriptions.

Ranger Basic Components:

Crossed Arms Basic Ranger component now increases blast damage by 35% and reduces impact damage by 15% (from 50% and 20%)

Thermal Regulator Basic Ranger component now increases fire damage and max heat capacity by 25% (was 20%).

Grenade Augment Basic Ranger component now increases grenade damage by 15% (was 5%).

Convergence Core Basic Ranger component now reduces blast damage by 15% (was 35%).

Grenadier Inscription Basic Ranger component now correctly reduces cooldown of Ranger Grenades and text is updated to reflect this.

Grenadier Inscription Basic Ranger component was reduced from 35% cooldown reduction to 30% cooldown reduction.

Universal Components:

The Special Arms Ammo component now only affects heavy pistols and grenade launchers.

The Machine Pistol Ammo component now also affect autocannons and the name has been changed to Rapid Arms.

Previously added Universal Components with patch 1.0.3:

Symbiotic Surge: Increases javelin armor by a large amount. Increases all damage by 50% for 10 seconds when picking up a repair pack.

Softened Blows: Increases javelin shields by a large amount. Increases damage resistance by 75% for 5 seconds when shields run out.

Thermal Cooling: Increases the javelin's heat capacity to allow the javelin to fly more effectively. Reduces time you stay overheated significantly.

Rejuvenating Ammo: Increases reserve ammo for all equipped guns. Replenishes armor by 20% when picking up an ammo pack.

Emergency Power: An inscribed component that augments javelin Ultimate gear and increases damage. Ultimate meter refills instantly when armor is critically damaged. Can occur once every 120 seconds.

Bloodlust: An inscribed component that increases melee weapon damage. Increases melee damage by 75% for 10 seconds when killing an enemy by using melee.

Acid Slugs: Adds specialized storage for enhanced shotgun ammunition and increases damage. Hitting (7) shotgun shots in a single burst applies acid on the target.

Giant Slayer: Adds specialized storage for enhanced marksman rifle ammunition and increases damage. Increases weak point damage by 50% after a consecutive Marksman Rifle hit streak (5).

Focused Freeze: Adds specialized storage for enhanced Light Machine Gun ammunition and increases damage. On a consecutive LMG hit-streak (10), shots freeze the target.

Gear:

Updated Interceptor Wraith Strike gear text to match new functionality: “Interceptor projects a ghost of itself that can warp up to X targets. Active Auras apply to all targets struck.”

Weapons:

Reduced the weapon reload times by speeding up the reload animations for the Colossus Heavy Weapons (Autocannons and Grenade Launchers).

Javelins:

Interceptor Melee can now execute multiple melee attacks with a single held input.

Interceptor can now detonate combos even if they have an aura currently active. This allows the Interceptor to detonate the combo to do extra combo damage without having to wait for the aura to expire. In addition, detonating a combo will refresh the duration of the currently active aura (regardless of the primer that is detonated on the creature). For example, if you have an Ice Aura active and you detonate a creature primed with Acid it will refresh the duration of your Ice Aura.

Increased the max stamina (thruster) meter for all Javelins by 20%.

Reduced the base overheat duration for all Javelins by 20%.

Fire Status effect on players no longer instantly overheats the Javelin but instead starts to quickly build up until overheating.

Added new audio for thrusters failing to ignite when frozen by an enemy creature .

Improved audio notification for when Javelin ultimate ability is ready.

Added the ability to enter hover underwater.
