Daarnaast zit er wel degelijk een kern van waarheid in. Als je een economie hebt die als een tierelier draait en iedereen profiteert mee dan maakt het helemaal niet uit hoeveel schulden je hebt als overheid. Sterker nog, als het crisis is dan vlucht iedereen sowieso naar staatsobligaties.
