About the data: The map above shows federal workers in the nine departments affected by the partial shutdown: Homeland Security, HUD, Commerce, Interior, Transportation, State, Agriculture, Justice and Treasury.
The data also includes other employees who are affected: EPA, FDA, Indian Health Services, NASA and Small Business Administration

Wel bijzonder dat in 24 uur eerst naar buiten kwam dat er onderzoek was naar of hij daadwerkelijk zelf een Russische agent was en dat dan zojuist naar buiten kwam dat hij er voor gezorgd heeft dat alle ontmoetingen met uitgerekend Putin geheim zijn. Volstrekt niet verdacht ofzo.

Een absolute aanrader, waarin Wittes uiteen zet hoe het onderzoek van de FBI in eerste instantie gaat om de acties en inmenging van Rusland en dat het onderzoek naar Trumps rol daarin niet het hoofddoel was of is. Verder beargumenteert hij dat het onderscheid tussen collusion en obstruction en het onderscheid tussen counterintelligence en criminal investigation veel vager is dan het in berichtgeving lijkt.quote:

Daaruit volgde ook de verschillende onderzoeken naar bijvoorbeeld Page. Flynn et al en werd duidelijk dat Rusland zich bemoeide met de 2016 verkiezingen. Pas na verdachte handelingen van team Trump is er actief onderzocht of er banden zijn tussen hen en Rusland. Toen Trump Comey ontsloeg, heeft hij daardoor niet alleen een lopend onderzoek naar zichzelf ondermijnd, maar ook het onderzoek op grotere schaal.
