Commission chairman Anthony Marnell said because one fighters’ purse was withheld, the commission will move quickly with the complaints, promising them sometime in the next 24 to 48 hours.

The decision to file a complaint against McGregor was made after reviewing tape that was not immediately available on fight night, Marnell said.

Marnell said the commission is also looking into measures to discipline the men who entered the cage. He said he expects to hold disciplinary hearings no later than the end of November for McGregor and Nurmagomedov.

Both Nurmagomedov and McGregor will be facing a suspension and fine from the Nevada commission. UFC president Dana White said Saturday night that Nurmagomedov could be stripped of the title if he is suspended for a lengthy amount of time.

Verwachting is een schorsing van 6 maanden en een boete richting de 250.000 dollar. Conor zal waarschijnlijk ook een boete krijgen en misschien ook wel een schorsing.

Conor is een verhaal apart, hij is mainstream doorgebroken. Als GSP zich meldt voor de 155lbs divisie zal hij ook tegen Khabib kunnen aantreden zonder 1 gevecht in de lightweight-divisie. Dat je vooraf misschien vind dat een andere tegenstander een titelgevecht meer verdiend veranderd niets aan het feit dat als je de kampioen verslaat je de kampioen bent. Ja, hypothetisch kan je veel stellen. Rose Namajunas kan tegen Cormier vechten en als ze wint dan heeft ze inderdaad 2 titels.

Nee. Cormier heeft de heavyweight titel omdat hij op heavyweight van de kampioen won. Daar is niets raars aan.
