United Nations
The United Nations, abbreviated UN, is the governmental body of Earth. It was founded in 1945 after World War II as an international organization facilitating cooperation in, among other areas, international law. It is led by the elected Secretary-General, who at the time the Expanse takes place is Esteban Sorrento-Gillis.
The UN is seated on Earth, but also has a presence on Luna, in the New Hague facilities in Lovell City. It controls the United Nations Navy and the United Nations Marine Corps.
Martian Congressional Republic
The Martian Congressional Republic is the governing body which rules over the four billion inhabitants of Mars. Their flag has a single star and thirty stripes.
The Republic is often times in direct competition to Earth and its governing body, the United Nations. Although Mars has a significantly smaller population than Earth, the ruggedness of the people, as a result of the harsher environment and sparser resources, makes Mars a worthy counterweight to Earth's power. The Martian Congressional Republic Navy, although smaller, is considered to be more advanced.
However, like Earth, they actively oppress the Belt and its people.
Outer Planets Alliance
The Outer Planets Alliance, abbreviated OPA, is an organization that started its life as a labor union or advocacy group, fighting for the interests of inhabitants of the Belt, often in direct conflict with the inner planets' Earth Mars Coalition Navy. Its logo is a split circle and headquarters is located on Tycho Station.
The OPA is described as either a social movement, according to people sympathizing with Belters, or a terrorist network, according to the inner planets.

Serie 1 en 2 zijn hier in D op Amazon te zien maar wel tegen betaling. Het was op D Netflix te zien daar is het inmiddels weg.quote:

We hebben nog mazzel dat Amazon de rechten wilde overkopen want anders was gewoon de stekker eruit gehaald zonder hoop op nieuwe seizoenen.
Amazon heeft overigens de rechten om alle boeken te verfilmen, dat betekent dat er nog zo'n 6 seizoenen aan kunnen komen.
De boeken zijn ook al helemaal klaar en af, dus niet zoals bij GoT dat de serieschrijvers zelf maar iets moeten gaan verzinnen.
