De BeNeleague heeft tenminste fatsoenlijke playoffs. Het kampioenschap was "vroegāh" best of 3 - best of 5 - best of 7. Dat het landskampioenschap nu wordt afgedaan met 3 wedstrijden tussen 4 teams vind ik belachelijk.

Set to take place at the Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham across the weekend of Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th April 2018, the Playoff Final Weekend is the showpiece finale to the Elite League season.
“Once again the Playoff Final Weekend is set to be the biggest event of the year for the league,” Elite League Chairman Tony Smith said.
“It is a brilliant opportunity for fans from across the league to come together and to mark the end of the hockey season in style. There is a real party atmosphere every year, and given how exciting the 2017/18 campaign has already been I have no doubt that the 2018 Playoff Final Weekend will be bigger and better than ever.”
The format of the weekend will remain the same as in previous years, with the semi-finals to take place on the Saturday at 1pm and 5pm respectively.
The Bronze Medal game (face-off 12 noon) and Grand Final (face-off 4pm) will then take place on the Sunday.
Nottingham Panthers Season Ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets from January 29th (in person or by phone - blocks 3, 4, 5 and 6 only) with Sheffield Steelers Season Ticket holders able to purchase ticket from 9am on Monday 5th February 2018 (in person or by phone - blocks 16, 17 and 18 only).
Tickets will then go on general sale from 10.30am on Monday 12th February 2018 and can be purchased in person, by phone (08433733000) or via the Motorpoint Arena website (www.motorpointarenanottingham.com).
All tickets will be available at special ‘Early Bird’ prices up until the close of business on March 4th 2018, with standard pricing in effect from March 5th onwards.

Leuk idee maar dat gaat hier in Nederland nooit werken. Kijk maar wat voor volk er nu op op het Final 4 weekend in Thialf af is gekomen. Nagel me er niet op vast maar het zal me niet verbazen als van alle bezoekers van het hele weekend 90% Flyers fan was, 8% HIJS fans, 1% Devils en 1% Eaters.
