Dear followers, friends and family. Not many of you know what is going on with me and how I am doing right now. Therefor I give you all a big update right here and now.
As the most of you know I was sick this summer. I could start training after about four weeks of doing nothing. I started slowly.
After about two weeks I got a bad cold but it held me only a week and a half from training. As soon as I got better again I started training. I felt strong but all training so far was only in a low hard rate as I needed to build the training up.
After a few weeks where power training went good and I was back at my strength like before I got sick, I slowly tried training in a higher hard rate. Which I responded good on. I tried this twice with good results. Therefor I tried to step it up one step further. I tried to train an even higher hart rate intervall training which I after got a painful respond of in my liver. A sign that it was to early for me to train that hard.
I kept on training in a low hart rate and suddenly I got a terrible pain in one knee. All I could do is biking, upper body strength training and swimming. Unfortunatley I got sick and only with antibiotics I got rid of it.
Right now I have a problem in my upper body between my shoulders which makes sure that I am having a hard time training at all.
You could say that my season and olympic preparation hasn't been going as planed.
Here by I inform you that my big goal for this season, to make it to the olympics, is gone. It is not realistic anymore and I will now turn my focus on my next big goal which will be here in Östersund next year, the World championships 2019 Östersund. I hope to be able to come back in training soon and with some luck I can maybe start racing a bit after christmas, but right now I will take everything day by day.
