Mooi concept inderdaad, alleen ik denk dat er wel meer in had kunnen zitten en dat vind ik een beetje zonde. Waarschijnlijk was dat dan totaal niet de bedoeling, maar ik had het interessanter gevonden als Hannah daadwerkelijk aan legitiem "pestgedrag" langzaam ten onder ging. Nu voelt het een beetje als losse puzzelstukjes allemaal, beetje incompleet ofzo. Ook wat wij eerder zeiden hier; niet alles was terecht en soms "overdreef" ze (niet dat je dingen moet bagatelliseren ofzo). Maar dat is waarschijnlijk alleen ik danquote:

In anders nieuws; er wordt een serie van The Mist gemaakt. Alleen de trailer zag er cheap uit en nu ben ik bang dat ze het gaan verkloten. Terwijl een serie van The Mist volgens mij best vet kan worden. Maar ja.

De films vond ik niet zo, maar het concept is echt heel vet. Hopelijk gaat dat wel goed komen, dan ben ik gelukkig. Het komt sowieso van hetzelfde filmhuis af als Whiplash, Insidious en Split gedaan.

Alex vond ik ook goed personage. Courtney, Bryce en Marcus zijn echt walgelijk. Jessica eigenlijk ook wel. Domme aandachttrekker.

Ik vond het trouwens wel weer echt pijnlijk treurig voorbeeld de serie hoe Amerikaanse jongeren met drank en drugs omgaan

While most of the flashbacks show a young Casey (presumably), there is only one flashback that we know is actually Kevin. It depicts him hiding from his mom under the bed. This lone flashback is shown in the first person obscuring the fact that it is actually the same person experiencing it as the other flashbacks.
Furthermore, although the Uncle and Dad refer to Casey by name multiple times, it is possible that they are actually saying KC (short for Kevin Crumb).
I believe that Casey can therefore see and feel the experiences (particularly pain) of the people around her. This would explain why she always prefers to be alone. It explains why she has good instincts for this situation. She knows how Kevin's persona is thinking and feeling which is why she never really seems to be afraid of him except at the end when he becomes the Beast.
The scars that are revealed on Casey's body at the end are not the scars of abuse, or even self inflicted scars. They are the scars of wounds experienced by people around her. The cuts on her stomach are the cuts the Marsha received from Kevin with the kitchen knife. The other scars on her torso look like shot gun blast (a result of Casey shooting the Beast).
It is this reason that the Beast leaves her alone. He realizes she is like him. His thoughts can manifest in his body and physically change him into the Beast. Casey's thoughts (the pain and suffering of others) can manifest in her body as well.
Like Elijah and David Dunn, Kevin and Casey are like two sides of the same coin.
