As starter of this topic (one of the very few I actually start) I somehow feel obliged to give some sort of example or at least something funny ((funny is a bit subjective...so if you don't think this is funny you can quite right fuck off
). However I am lazy...so I will just post some panel show clips. You are welcome. 
Actually it's an English language section, with the intention to discuss things in the English language this to open up Fok! for more people like expats in Holland, or people who emigrated long ago and lost their ability to discuss properly in the Dutch language, i can't imagine that the intention was to discuss daily life in England. My wife used to watch that show, it was about King's College Hospital in the beginning right? I know they switched hospitals in one of the seasons, but lost track of the series at one point. Quite interesting to say the least.quote:

The documentaries made by Adam Curtis are excellent. I recently watched All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace and am watching Century of the Self at the moment. Both are very good.quote:

The Century of the Self is about Freud's psychoanalysis and how it was used by those in power to manipulate the masses. The other is about how computers failed to live up to the expectations people had and how they somewhat distorted our worldview.
