http://www.newyorkerdaily(...)-one-arrested-36602/GERMANY – We have just now received reports coming in from Germany pointing out the news of a possible bomb threat in a Technical University at Dortmund city in Germany.
A suspicious device was found in the Technical University of Dortmund today based on which a person has been arrested by the local police in Dortmund. It is still not clear who was behind this bomb placement or the validity of this bomb threat.
Dortmund Police are still investigating the issue and interrogating the arrested suspect. It is interesting to know this as there is a soccer match scheduled in the Football stadium of Dortmund in a few hours from now. We are not sure what would be the impact of this news on this scheduled match or how far this bomb threat is true.

UPDATE 1: Unconfirmed report says the arrested person could be an Arab national.
UPDATE 2: Police and Fire Brigades are on the site ready for any emergency operation. Several trains and public service buses leading to Dortmund have been cancelled following this incident. Police have called in the bomb squad from Dusseldorf.
UPDATE 3: Upto 3 bags containing suspicious objects have been investigated so far. Traffic around the Technical University of Dortmund choked. Several traffic movement restrictions have been put in place by the security forces.
UPDATE 4: Adjacent buildings still remain occupied and have not been instructed to be evacuated.
