We zijn zes dagen verder na een enerverend duel in Camp Nou. Pas in het laatste kwartier brak Messi de ban en drukten de Catalanen door naar 3-0. FC Barcelona was over de hele wedstrijd gezien wel de verdiende winnaar. Er werden vele kansen gecreëerd tegen een op het oog naïef voetballend Bayern wat later wat meer compact ging staan.
