Russia proposed a UN Security Council draft resolution Thursday asking Kiev to "immediately start consultations" with pro-Russian separatists on elections within their eastern Ukraine strongholds.

The Russian text cites a paragraph from a February peace accord, which "provides for discussion and agreement on questions related to local elections in certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions."

The Russian proposal comes after Ukraine Tuesday ratified two bills for greater autonomy in its troubled rebel-held east, where 11 months of fighting between the Russian-backed separatists and Ukrainian government forces have killed more than 6,000 people.

Russia argues that the Ukrainian legislation is not in line with the February peace deal aimed at ending the regional fighting, and objects to Kiev's requirement that before winning autonomy the separatists must hold local elections under Ukrainian law.

In the resolution Russia called on Kiev to "immediately start consultations with the representatives of relevant areas."

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday the move by Ukraine "grossly violates" the February agreement made in Minsk.

"Kiev is looking to replace practically all elected officials with someone else," he said.

But Ukraine maintains that the law is not in violation of the Minsk agreement.

The Russian proposal has little chance for success given tensions between Western council members and Russia since the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis.

Lithuanian UN Ambassador Raimonda Murmokaite said that she was "taken by surprise" by the text, which she called "very one-sided."

"The illegal militants have long rejected the Minsk agreements... Ukraine is the only side working to implement the Minsk agreement" she said about the peace accord.

Ukraine Warlord Kolomoisky Private Army Seizes State Owned Oil Company in Kiev 19 March 2015

The governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region and one of Ukraine’s richest oligarchs, Igor Kolomoysky, has raided the office of oil transportation company Ukrtransnafta in Kiev with the help of several dozen armed “lawyers” in order to regain control over it.

Kolomoysky raided the firm to “drive out the new chief from the office and forcefully reappoint his own manager, Mr. Lazorko,” said Sergey Leshchenko, a parliamentarian from the bloc of Petro Poroshenko.

Earlier on Thursday, the board of Ukrtransnafta, which manages oil transportation operations through the Ukrainian pipeline network, relieved Aleksandr Lazorko of his post. “The Supervisory Board elected Yuri Miroshnik to act as a Chairman of the Board of Ukrtransnafta from 19 March 2015 until 10 August 2015,” national oil and gas company Naftogaz said in a statement.

Lazorko however refused to leave his post, protesting the decision, and barricaded himself in the office until Kolomoysky and his men entered the office and took it by force. The office remains under siege with a number of politicians and MPs trying to argue in Kolamoysky’s favor, calling for the reinstation of the old chief of Ukrtransnafta.

The Interior Minister Arsen Avakov was notified of the armed takeover, but authorities are hesitating to resolve the standoff forcefully, apparently hoping that Kolomoysky’s men will eventually surrender the headquarters after he “examines the documents.”
According to Vladimir Demchishin, the Energy Minister of Ukraine, a legal team is trying to negotiate with Kolomoysky and his men. The oligarch wants to stall and check the “legality” of the decision to relief Lazorko from his post.

Kolomoysky himself left the oil company’s office late evening, carrying some documents. As the oligarch was leaving the building, he told journalists that his legal team found some irregularities that he plans to discuss with the country’s leader Petro Poroshenko.

“We were liberating the building of Ukrtransnafta from Russian diversionists, who raided it! Why don’t you ask about it? Or you just f**king need to see Kolomoysky?” outraged oligarch told a Radio Svoboda journalist. “I’m going to President with these papers and scrawls.”

Dit is geen guerilla oorlog waarin de VS niet goed is maar gewoon conventioneel. Mochten ze dat proberen dan hoeven ze die zware wapen niet terug te trekken daar zorgen de b2's dan wel voor .
