Rosanna accuses Carly of cheating on Jack, but he's already distracted on his wedding day. "It's stressful because Jack finds out that these little presents that have been coming to the station have been from Julia," comments Michael Park (Jack). "He's concerned that [if] she's in town, she poses a definite threat to Carly and to Parker."
"We wanted to find [a dress] that would go along with the Monte Carlo [theme] as well as [be] something that Carly would design for herself," says ATWT Costume Designer Maggie Delgado, who found Carly's wedding gown at Kleinfeld in Brooklyn, NY. "This dress had everything going for it. It's almost a little bit too much, which is enough for her."
Costume Designer Chip Schoonmaker and Delgado decided to have Jack in his dress blues. "We wanted to bring a certain kind of formality and elegance to the evening," she muses. "Jack being the great detective that he is, I think would be proud of who he is and have his buddies there in their uniform as well. It evolved from character, really."
"The wedding is, I wouldn't say rushed, but there's definitely something going on in the back of [Jacks] mind while this whole thing is taking place," reveals Michael Park. He's not the only one Carly has her own preoccupations! "I cant really comment on that because Jack doesnt know about that."
According to Delgado, Carly also designed Molly's dress to complement her own.
Although Margo is also on the police force, Delgado decided she would be more glamorous that evening and went with a traditional gown for the character.
"It's an uncomfortable situation [for Mike]," remarks Mark Collier of the wedding. As for his situation with Molly, "I think it still bothers Mike a little bit, but at the same time, Mike realizes how much he cares for her, how much she cares for him. She meant to do something good, it just was a little underhanded."
"In my mind, when Carly sent out the invitation to her wedding, she probably included something like 'It's my evening in Monte Carlo wedding,'" Delgado considers. "I think that [the guests] know Carly and the world she creates, so they brought out all their goodies and their great dresses and really made themselves up." Pictured: Tamara Tunie (Jessica)
"It's beautiful," Napiera Danielle Groves says of Bonnie's gown for the wedding. "It's gray, some sort of silk material with beautiful turquoise and iridescent jewels in front of it. Very pretty. Very Bonnie.""
"I'm wearing a very kind of simple a-line long dress with a beautiful back," explains Terri Colombino (Katie).
"I'm on a manhunt during the wedding," Scott Holroyd (Paul) states. "I was invited but it slipped my mind. The whole Stenbeck thing's happening, so I forgot all about it. Halloween night, it all goes down. Jack and Carly get married, Stenbeck shows his face, it all happens. It should be a fun show."
Julia's appearance rocks the wedding. "It's great [to have Annie Parisse back]," raves Michael Park. "She brings so much energy to the place."
How does Mike feel about his tryst with Carly? "I think that it brought back a lot of memories between Mike and Carly," Collier says. "At the same time, it has to be put aside because she's getting married. It was just a chance encounter, two people coming together at a bad point in time. So, it's certainly not like the feelings he has for Molly."
