The Tennessean newspaper says someone at a Ryan Adams concert in Nashville shouted for him to play the Bryan Adams hit "Summer of '69." Adams started swearing at the fan and had the house lights turned on.
Adams then found the fan, slapped $30 in his palm as a refund and said he wouldn't play another note until he left. The general manager of the concert hall stopped the fan on the way out and "apologized profusely."
The fan was let back in, and he kept Adams' $30."
