Chevrolet toont de nieuwe aero-kits voor dit seizoen. Deze kit is voor de road course/short oval. De speedway kits zullen aan het begin van de Month of May getoond worden.
Dit seizoen mogen teams gebruik maken van een gehomologeerde aero-kit. Zowel Honda als Chevrolet hebben een aero-kit ingeleverd voor homologatie, dus dit seizoen zullen we in ieder geval twee soorten kits zien.

Sage Karam is door Chip Ganassi Racing bevestigd voor de eerste race in St. Petersburg. Er wordt nog gewerkt aan een budget voor de rest van het seizoen.
