En het feit dat hun debuutalbum alweer 19 (!) jaar geleden uitkwam, is wel een beetje confronterend.. Ik herinner het me nog als de dag van gisteren.. Tijd vliegt.

Foo Fighters have hinted that they have "fucking cool" plans to celebrate their 20th anniversary next year.
The band's debut LP, 'Foo Fighters', was released in 1995. Speaking in this week's issue of NME, which is on newsstands now and available digitally, bassist Nate Mendel promised that he and his bandmates will celebrate the milestone in a 'unique' way.
Asked about their future plans, Mendel replied: "We're planning on doing a pretty unique and cool idea for our 20th anniversary. It's something that'll be fucking cool – plus all of the usual things like festivals."
Foo Fighters are set to release their new album 'Sonic Highways' on November 10. The LP is formed of eight tracks written during visits to studios in eight different cities. During their various studio visits, the band teamed up with notable musicians from the local area.
Yesterday evening (September 10), the band played a tiny show in Brighton. Billed as The Holy Shits, they played a set packed with rare songs and hits, and also hinted at future plans of a "week at Wembley Stadium".
Foo Fighters are set to play another intimate concert this evening at London's House Of Vans tonight (September 11). This weekend, meanwhile, they will headline the closing ceremony of the London Invictus Games (September 14).
