Je correspondentievriendin ui colchester heeft je geschreven dat zij onlangs naar een vriendschappelijke voetbalwedstrijd is geweest tussen Nederland en Engeland. De Nederlandse supporters hadden veel lol tijdens de wedstrijd en op hun tribune was veel oranje te zien. Je vriendin vraagt jou iets meer te vertellen over het gedrag van Nederlandse voetbalsupporters bij interland-wedstrijden.
Opdracht:
-open je brief op de gebruikelijke wijze.
-vertel dat nederlandse supporters het ''oranjegevoel'' hebben. zeg wat dat volgens jou betkent
-vertel waar de kleur oranje vandaan komt
-bied aan om iets op te sturen
-vraag je vriendin wat vindt van het feit dat er zoveel nederlanders en andere buitenlanders in de engelse eredivisie spelen.

First of all, you're appriciated a lot for the curiosity towards the Dutch soccer supporters.
Although my interest in soccer is rather small, I do like to watch the world cup competitions, so I suppose there can be given some of my meagre experiences concerning the competitions.
Dutch supporters love the colour orange, because it represents the royal family and is chosen as the national colour of the Netherlands. The ''orangefeeling'' we have is our expression of nationalism.
Most of it is shown during events, such as Kingsday and international contests. Shops are full of orange items on these occasions, if you appriciate it I can buy you a orange scarf or similar objects. On the other hand, maybe a typical Dutch item such as orange clogs will provide more gratification.
What is your thought on the fact that there are many Dutch and other foreign soccer players in the Premier League? I am of the opinion that soccer teams should only contain players of their own countrys, in that way the proud we gain when winning is well-founded. Incidentally are the chorusses who sing about Dutch proud. Why claim all the honour when half the team is foreign? What is your thought on chorusses and the fact they can be well insulting?

after... --> twee dingen in het verleden gebeurd op een bepaald moment, het één langer geleden dan het andere. de voorkeur is dan een past perfect en een past simple.quote:

Juist door het woordje after (of already is er ook zo eentje) moet je past perfect gebruiken. Het woordje vervangt de tijd niet, het is een signaal dat je een bepaalde tense moet gebruiken (in het Brits Engels althans, als je grammaticaal correct en duidelijk wilt zijn). In spreektaal doe je dit niet altijd, en in het Amerikaans Engels ook niet (bijna alles daar is past simple).quote:

(Deze zin is lelijk, maar klopt wel. Ik zou zelf eerder dit schrijven:)

In de laatste zin zou ik evt twee keer past simple wel goed rekenen, want het is een beetje ambigu.

Waar veel mensen problemen mee hebben is de ''a/an''. Onthoudt dat je nooit ''a orange'' zegt, maar ''an orange''. Tussen A/E/I/O/U moet een 'n'. Er zijn wel uitzonderingen, maar dit is dus puur voor het uitspreken.
Bedankt voor de tips allemaal, met de vorige brief iets te moeilijk gedaan naar mijn mening.
Hier nogmaals een brief, een dan vooral gericht aan kwakzor, wat zou jij voor een cijfer geven voor vwo 6 informale brief staatsexamen.

Last week I bought the white Appleyard dining table at your webshop.
The table was delivered on time, the rest of the service was also fine. My girl friend and I are considering to order more from your webshop since there are nice design items for a reasonable price.
When the table arrived, we were very happy. I had set the table up immidiately, we liked it instantly.
Although there is one thing we do not like, it is really easy to scratch the table and make black stains on the white surface, so we are obliged to have a table cloth on the table all the time to prevent table from getting damaged. There is already some damage done and my girlfriend and I wonder how we can solve this problem.
Is the table painteble, if so what kind of paint and what is the current colour code from the white paint that is currently on the table?
We also wonder if there excists some kind of protective transparant paint that will protect the paint, so we van use the table without needing to cover it with a table cloth.
If there is some kind of protective transparant paint, I would like to recieve a can of that paint for free, that is because there was no warning or description that the tables surface was so sensitive for damage.

Als ik er een cijfer voor zou moeten geven zou het tussen de 4 en de 5 liggen. Ik neem aan dat je geen TTO leerling bent dus valt de beoordeling nog mee.

Veel spelfouten, je vergeet af en toe en lidwoord en soms nog wat ongelukkige woordkeus en zinsbouw. wel beter dan eerst maar ik vind dit echt meer havo dan vwo niveau. Ook qua type taal en fouten.
cijfer geven is lastig. Wij werken met 1 fout per 9 woorden is een zes op vwo. Een krappe zes kom jemisschien welaan. Maar weet niet hoe het staatsexamen is. ws met beoordeeld met het citomodel en dan vind ik het lastig inschatten.

Ik heb 5 jaar geleden mijn vmbo-t diploma gehaald, dus ik lig al een tijdje uit de running. Had wat beter moeten voorbereiden.
