Voorlopig zijn er 33 inschrijvingen voor de Indy 500.
Opvallend is een tweede auto voor Ed Carpenter, wie de auto gaat besturen is nog niet bekend. Daarnaast gaat Joseph Newgarden rijden met startnummer 21 ipv 67 en is het startnummer van Pippa Mann nog niet bekend.

Vorig jaar kon je de trainingen die niet op TV werden uitgezonden zien op de site van Indycar. Voor de kwalificaties zul je een livestream moeten zoeken, maar die zal wel op de bekende sites te vinden zijn.quote:
