Armin Mueller-Stahl vind ik een erg goede acteur, maar de show wordt hier toch wel gestolen door Geoffrey Rush.
Vooral het moment waarop ie 'crackt', tijdens dat concert met het Rachmaninoff-stuk... prachtig

Ik vraag me alleen af hoe goed die Helfgott werkelijk was?
Hij heeft opnames gemaakt zo rond de jaren 90 maar die waren niet zo bar goed geloof ik.

Zelden is er een film geweest als deze die mij zo geraakt heeft. Alhoewel, ik kan de film wat dat betreft alleen krediet geven voor het samenbrengen van fantastische muziek. In het dagelijks leven luister ik niet naar klassieke muziek. Maar deze geweldige noten brachten mij diep in vervoering... die twee tranen kon ik dan ook niet binnenhouden...
