In de VS zijn vast wel faciliteiten om een 757 te repareren aan een mankement zoals dit. Maar bedenk je dat als je van de verkeersleiding te horen krijgt dat je tijdens de start een aantal grote onderdelen bent verloren, je niet echt relaxed een grote oversteek kunt maken. Je weet niet waar dat losgeraakte wiel allemaal tegenaan gestuiterd kan zijn.
