The series follows Whitney Cummings, as she portrays a fictionalized version of herself, and her very supportive live-in boyfriend, Alex. Even though the two have decided that they will not commit to marriage, she does question how committed they are in their 3-year relationship and tries to go as far to prove a point; she begins to fear what she sees as "relationship boredom" and worries what will happen next that could possibly end her relationship. Because of what she sees and hears around her involving other relationships, she decides to use unconventional methods to keep the romantic flames glowing with the help of her close friends. The sitcom is set in Chicago.
Ok deze serie verdient een eigen topic, volg het al een tijdje en heb het idee dat bijna niemand het kent. Het wordt live opgenomen (ja klinkt dom, alles wordt live opgenomen, maar voor een live publiek) en ze zijn erg zuinig met takes. Dus soms heeft het wat weg van een toneelshow ofzo, niet in de toneel-toneel zin, maar het is leuk om te zien dat de characters soms zelf ook moeten lachen om de grappen.
In het begin leek dat heel dom en amateuristisch, maar de serie is eigenlijk heel goed. Vooral Stoner-Guy (uit Glory Daze), haar vriendje, is een geweldige gast. Net aflevering 17 en 18 gezien en ik lag helemaal dubbel om aflevering 17, echt geniaal.
Je moet er van houden, maar ik wil mensen aanraden dit te kijken, ik hou verder van Community, Happy Endings, Raising Hope en Workaholics en deze past daar zeker tussen!

Inderdaad een hele fijne en leuke serie. Zeker een aanrader. Overigens is Whitney Cummings ook verantwoordelijk voor 2 Broke Girls
Had ik idd ook in het 2 Broke Girls topic gezet. Ik vind het zon relaxte serie. Je ziet gewoon dat de acteurs het gewoon naar hun zin hebben en niet proberen een perfecte rol neer te zetten. Gewoon voor de fun en dat heb je ook. Vooral door Chris D'elia, haha geniale vent.
Echt he, begrijp de lage ratings op IMDB enzo niet echt, het is veel beter dan de standaard comedy series, het had een apart sfeertje. Lekker happy.

When we have a better idea of viewing patterns in the next few weeks, we will announce new season premieres of Whitney and Community.”

Jeej, ook weer begonnen, had ik niet door, gisteravond ep 5 (van seizoen 2) gekeken. Geweldig weer hoe hij zo kan doen, huh, what? no she isn't pretty... what? 
Dit is nu samen met Community en Parks & Rec een van dé series waar ik elke week naar uit kijk.
