Ik hoop het...ik weet niet hoe laat ze zijn begonnen met de repetitie? Maar als ze net zijn begonnen zullen ze zeker nog 1 of 2x gaan zingen.

Vooral Jaap Kwakman ziet er tof uit zo.
Die zwarte schoenen onder dat witte pak van Jan Dulles vind ik niet zo...

Lots of changes for the Netherlands
Düsseldorf, Germany - The second rehearsal for the Netherlands has just taken place on the stage in Düsseldorf. There were a lot of changes including new costumes, lighting arrangements and a lot of dancing.

3JS were nervous backstage.
"I'm pretty fine, but a little bit nervous. I'm more nervous for the rehearsal than for the actual contest," lead singer Jan Dulles tells.

"We don't know what to expect now. After the first rehearsal we had to talk over some things in our stage act. We have to do it good now, this is the last big rehearsal. We had a little talk with the light people and camera people, and they know what we want and we know what to do on stage."

"We also have to change our own stage performance, we have to move a little bit more. The first rehearsal was more of a monitor and audio rehearsal for me."

Now, they also wear their especially made stage suits.
"They are real Italian suits, mafia suits!" Jan tells.

Rehearsal - Let's dance!
As the Dutch band 3JS enter the stage to perform their entry, Never Alone, the first change from the first rehearsal is that the band and backing singers are all wearing their costumes for the night.

Jan, Jan and Jaap are all wearing very smart costumes that are also stylish with white and dark colours. The backing singers are all wearing blacking, which altogether makes a very stylish group of people on stage.

During the song the stage seems a lot busier than it before with two steady cams on at the same time and the light rigging changing after the first chorus.

The guys are also moving around much more in comparison to the first performance, making the actual performance a lot more kinetic and interesting. The backing singers are also incredibly mobile, moving round the stage and dancing a lot with the band.

The camera angles and the way the lights are being used has also changed slightly, to fit with the increased movements of the band. For example there are a lot more spotlights and flashing lights being used to emphasise the rhythm of the song.

Vocally, the 3JS are still very strong but this time round the backing vocals are slightly lower than before, which means that they are not drowning out the lead singer so much.

During the rehearsal you could see that the guys were a lot happy and more at ease with their performance this time around.

Nieuwe kostuums, nieuwe lichtarrangementen en lots of dancing

Ik vind het licht beter zo, lijkt minder geel en het begin is zonder die lampen.
Vind de opbouw beter zo en het plaatje is al anders met de backings zo in het zwart.

Het is toch steeds niet rete-flashy, maar wel zéker beter

Jan beweegt ook veel meer

Die negert staat alleen nog steeds stil de eerste helft

Dat hebben ze hem vast nog ff ingefluisterd na afloop Komt wel goed, daar is het een repetitie voor. Ik ben best opgelucht! De spots zijn haast wit ipv geel in elk geval en het is veel minder statisch.

Oh dat is positief, ook andere belichting Cool

Gaat het toch nog goed komen? F*ck ik krijg meteen weer hoop

Nederland kiest voor de combinatie wit – zwart wat de kledij betreft. De leadzanger Jan draagt een wit pak met kashmir tekening en dat staat hem niet, veel te chic en oubollig, vooral bij de close-ups, het lijkt wel iets uit een museum. Wanneer gaat er nu eens iemand die Jan de raad geven om naar een goede kapper te gaan? De twee andere zangers zien er veel beter uit in hun iets meer casual look. De zang is beduidend beter deze keer. De backing vocals doen nog steeds die vervelende bewegingen maar gaan op het einde van het liedje uit elkaar om samen met de 3JS een cirkel te vormen op het podium, een leuke vondst.

Ik vind dat witte pak helemaal niks. . Veel te maffia. En dat geloop hoeft bij dit nummer ook niet. Gewoon lekker op je plek blijven staan, pas stukken beter bij dit lied.

Deze Duitsers vinden het nog steeds niets (en noemen de leadzanger Jaap Kwakman ).

Probe: Niederlande….Jaap Jaap und Jan
Deswegen auch 3JS…überraschend, was man noch alles lernen kann über die Interpreten. Ähnlich wie die San Mariner setzen die Niederländer nicht auf die große Leuchtfläche im Hintergrund. Sondern setzen vereinzelte Lichtakzente. Insgesamt ein stimmiger Auftritt, der untergehen wird…Sorry, Nederland….aber auch 2011 wird es vermutlich nichts mit der Finalteilnahme. Ihr habt einen echt guten Radiosong, aber der ist ebenso ein- wie ausgängig. Das heisst, sobald er vorrüber ist, ist er auch schon wieder vergessen.

Die Präsentation ist dem Lied entsprechend, wenig spektakulär. Allerdings wäre alles andere auch nicht stimmig. Schlimmer wäre nur eine übertriebene und überladene Performance.

Viel mehr gibts darüber auch schon gar nicht zu berichten. Der Leadsänger Jaap Kwakman – eigentlich n witziger Name für einen Sänger – macht das ganz ordentlich. Ganz in weiss gekleidet, orientiert er sich klamottentechnisch an Vorgänger wie Johnny Logan, Toto Cotugno oder Dima Bilan. Ob er sich in diese Reihen dazu gesellen darf, ist mehr als zweifelhaft.

Ja maar toen ze op hun plek bleven staan werd er weer geroepen dat het te statisch was
