Game je op de PC of Console of toch liever mobiel of in je browser? Kom je maar niet door een level heen, of is er juist een nieuwe game aangekondigd die je vet lijkt? Hier kun je het hebben over games in de breedste zin van het woord.

The player assumes the role of Cole Phelps, an LAPD officer who rises through the ranks of the department. He has joined the police force to "right the wrongs" he committed during the Second World War. He starts off as a patrol-man, then a traffic detective, homicide, vice, and finally arson investigator. Each rank gives the player a partner who will help Phelps in his investigations, fights, and arrests. The game blends investigative elements such as mystery, and crime solving, with fast paced action sequences from chases on foot to car, as well as gun-play. As well as the storyline missions, the player can choose to work on optional side-investigations following a call from dispatch. The player can also travel on foot, as well as in different vehicles.

Ik heb hem bij Bol.com besteld. Inclusief The Naked City + Badge Hunt pre order bonus. Maar ja, eigenlijk betaal je daar toch dik voor aangezien de niet-pre-order-releases meestal al vanaf 45 euro te preorderen zijn. Maar ja

Ik wil dit spel zeker hebben. Weet niet of ik hem meteen op de releasedag koop, maar de verleiding is zeer groot... 
Hij komt drie dagen eerder uit in de VS. Genoeg tijd om wat (user-)reviews te lezen en de score op Metacritic te bekijken. Al denk ik dat ik hem toch wel ga kopen.

Noire, a game that spreads across three discs on the Xbox 360, the company confirmed to Kotaku. The forthcoming game about being a detective in 1947 Los Angeles fills a single-layer, 25 GB Blu-Ray disc on the PlayStation 3.

Tja, grote game. 400 acteurs met motion capture vastgelegd, textures voor 8 vierkante mijl aan LA, en natuurlijk uren aan stemmen, geluidseffecten en muziek.
Als je liever kwaliteit wilt dan zal dit toch meer voorkomen voor dergelijk grote games (zoals bij Mass Effect 2, Final Fantasy). Beter dan dat ze allerlei nasty compressie moeten toepassen op textures of geluid. Maar ben stiekem wel blij dat ik een PS3 heb in deze.
Als je liever kwaliteit wilt dan zal dit toch meer voorkomen voor dergelijk grote games (zoals bij Mass Effect 2, Final Fantasy). Beter dan dat ze allerlei nasty compressie moeten toepassen op textures of geluid. Maar ben stiekem wel blij dat ik een PS3 heb in deze.
