Het Eurovisie Songfestival
Was de persdag vorig jaar op de Zaanse Schans met Sieneke, die haar buitenlandse concurrenten een stukje Nederland liet zien, dit jaar gaan de 3Js hun concurrenten in hun eigen Volendam ontvangen. En FOK! zal er weer bij zijn om verslag uit te brengen en foto's te maken, welke later in dit topic te zien zullen zijn 
3Js ontvangen concurrenten in Volendam
Op zaterdag 9 april ontmoet 3JS in Volendam een groot aantal songfestivalconcurrenten die - net als het trio - in mei deelnemen aan het Eurovisie Songfestival in Düsseldorf. Artiesten uit ruim 20 landen komen in het weekend van 9 april naar Nederland voor de derde editie van 'Eurovision in Concert'. In Volendam zullen Jan, Jaap en Jaap de internationale delegaties verwelkomen op de rode loper en ze kennis laten maken met Volendam en de Nederlandse songfestivalinzending 'Never alone'.
De organisatie is nog in onderhandeling met enkele landen, maar zeker is dat de artiesten uit de volgende landen van de partij zullen zijn: Oostenrijk, Polen, Servië, Cyprus, Finland, Zwitserland, Albanië, Armenië, San Marino, Wit-Rusland, VJR-Macedonië, Turkije, Letland, Bulgarije en Slovenië.
Deze artiesten zullen 's avonds ook te zien zijn in de Amsterdamse club 'Air' waar de deelnemers hun songfestivalinzending ten gehore zullen brengen.
De presentatie van het concert is dit jaar in handen van oud-songfestivaldeelneemster Esther Hart, voormalig songfestivalcommentator Cornald Maas en de Duitse presentator/komiek Sascha Korf.

I have a question for Mr. Finland:
When I heard his song for the first time I laughed a lot, but only - let it be said - out of uncontainable joy.
I thought it was a cynical wink towards other, past Eurovision entries with nonsensical lyrics that wanted to save the world (many drinking games have been played upon similar lyrics.)
And yet, in 2011 Finland dares to employ the same sentiments (!)
How much cynicism is there then in this entry?
Or is it really as sweet as it seems?
How much chance does a cynical-sweet song stand of winning the East European vote?
And PS:
How does Paradise Oskar think we should deal with the nuclear reactors in Japan?
All his advice on how to save the world would be very welcome

Het adres is Hotel Spaander, Haven 15-19 in Volendam. Ontvangst is vanaf 12.30 uur.
We vragen iedereen zich rustig achter de dranghekken op te stellen. Om 13.00 uur zal de eerste bus met artiesten arriveren.
Let op: In verband met werkzaamheden zijn er niet veel parkeerplekken dus kom op tijd!
