Op de Libische TV zijn ze gewoon een soort van "man bijt hond" straatinterviews aan het doen om te laten zien dat er niets aan de hand is. Ik versta alleen constant iets over "al Jazeera" en "al Arrabya" en het klinkt niet erg positief.

Dit lijkt me een nogal prematuur bericht. Dat de staatstelevisie op zwart is hoeft niet meer te betekenen dan dat demonstranten de studio in handen hebben. En dat er legeronderdelen zijn overgelopen is niets nieuws, terwijl de geruchten dat er legeronderdelen uit het oosten op weg zouden zijn om Kadaffi af te zetten onbevestigd zijn.quote:

De staatstelevisie zendt sinds iets voor 20.00 uur niet meer uit. Het beeld staat op zwart, wat er is gebeurd waardoor dit nu zo is, is nog niet bekend. Tripoli is gesloten voor iedereen die erin of eruit wil, zo meldt Al Jazeera. Dit is mogelijk gedaan met het oog op geruchten dat afgesplitste legereenheden uit het oosten van het land onderweg zijn naar Tripoli om Gadhafi eigenhandig af te zetten.
Vergeet niet dat men dagen geleden ook al riep dat Kaddafi praktisch geen macht meer had, en toen kwamen de luchtaanvallen. Ik zou er maar niet te zeker van zijn dat Kaddafi de macht kwijt is.

The Kadhafi family is considered persona non grata in Lebanon, especially among members of the Shiite Muslim community, who believe Libya is behind the 1978 disappearance of Lebanese Shiite leader Mussa Sadr.
On Wednesday, the former Libyan envoy to the Arab League, Abdel Moneim al-Honi, told the pan-Arab daily Al-Hayat that Sadr had been ordered killed during his 1978 visit to Libya and was buried in the southern region of Sebha.
