In 1971 verhuisde hij naar een afgelegen hut zonder elektriciteit of stromend water in Lincoln (Montana), waar hij zich overlevingsvaardigheden begon aan te leren in een poging om onafhankelijk van de buitenwereld te worden. [1] Hij kwam ertoe om een bomaanslagcampagne te beginnen, nadat hij gezien had hoe de wildernis rondom hem vernietigd werd door ontwikkelingsprojecten. [1] Van 1978 tot 1995 stuurde Kaczynski 16 bombrieven naar verschillende doelen, waaronder universiteiten en luchtvaartmaatschappijen, waarmee hij drie mensen doodde en 23 verwondde. Op 24 april 1995 stuurde Kaczynski een brief naar de The New York Times en beloofde "met zijn terrorisme te stoppen" als de Times of The Washington Post zijn manifest zou publiceren. In zijn Industrial Society and Its Future (De Geïndustrialiseerde Maatschappij en haar Toekomst, ook het "Unabomber Manifest" genoemd), betoogde hij dat zijn bomaanslagen extreem, maar noodzakelijk waren om de aandacht te vestigen op de uitholling van de menselijke vrijheid, veroorzaakt door de, moderne technologieën vereisende, grootschalige structurering.

The documentary - Cho Seung Hui, South Korean student at Virginia Tech University, committed a mass murder of 32 people and wounded 25 others in the shooting rampage which has come to be known as the Virginia Tech massacre. Cho killed himself after law enforcement officers breached the doors of the building where he had killed and injured the majority of his victims.
Cho arrived in US at a young age with his family. He has a severe form of anxiety disorder known as selective mutism in middle school and depression. During Cho's last two years at Virginia Tech, several instances of his aberrant behaviour, as well as plays and other writings he submitted containing references to violence, caused concern among teachers and classmates.

Charles Joseph Whitman (June 24, 1941 August 1, 1966), a student at the University of Texas at Austin, was a spree killer who murdered 14 people and wounded 32 others during a shooting rampage on and around the university's campus.

Three were killed inside the University's tower and ten killed from the 29th floor observation deck of the University's 307 foot administrative building on August 1, 1966; one died a week later from her wounds. The tower massacre happened shortly after Whitman murdered his wife and mother at their homes.

He was shot and killed by Austin Police Officer Houston McCoy, assisted by Austin Police Officer Ramiro Martinez. The incident was the deadliest university shooting in United States history until the Virginia Tech massacre of 2007.

1997 North Hollywood Shootout pt.1

Two suspects were killed and 15 people were injured, including 10 policemen. None of the injuries incurred during the hour-long shootout was "life threatening,"Los Angeles Police Chief Willie Williams said.

Although only the suspects were killed, the sheer number of injuries made this one of the bloodiest single cases of violent crime in the 1990's and one of the most significant single bank robberies of the 20th century.

Robert Kleason - Serial Killer - Documentary - [part 1]

Robert Elmer Kleason (1934 – April 21, 2003) was an American who was convicted and sentenced to death in 1975 for the murder of two missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon or LDS Church) in the area known as Oak Hill, on the southern outskirts of Austin, Texas in October 1974. However, after two years on Texas' death row, an appeals court overturned Kleason's conviction, ruling that the search of his home was illegal and that key evidence had to be excluded.

The police investigation led to the scenario that the missionaries Gary Darley (20) and Mark Fischer (19) were shot dead after having agreed to meet Kleason for dinner.

Police discovered Fischer's bloody watch and bullet-punctured name tag in Kleason's trailer but bodies never were found. Investigators also discovered blood and tissue on a band-saw in the taxidermy shop. Prosecutors at Kleason's 1975 murder trial alleged he dismembered the victims and buried the remains.

Robert Kleason upon his release from prison stayed a brief time in a Buffalo, New York mission. The local police had to be posted near the mission for Kleason's protection. He only congregated with the other people living in the mission during church services prior to eating. During this time, the local Buffalo TV channels updated the story every night on their news broadcasts.

In 1990, Kleason moved to Barton on Humber, Humberside, England. He married local woman Marie Longley, and began to amass a huge gun collection. When local authorities became aware of the gun collection and his legal problems, they prosecuted. He was given a three-year prison term in 2000 for possession of illegal firearms and munitions and began to serve time in an English prison. Kleason had also previously served time in a U.S. federal prison for firearms violations and in New York for assault.

In 2001 he faced extradition to the US after DNA analysis and other forensic tools were used to obtain new evidence. Before he could be extradited, however, Kleason died on April 21, 2003 of heart failure. He was 70 years old.
