Only 24 percent of people bought a new PS3 according to the study meaning there are around 720,000 new PS3s and one million second hand consoles in a total of 3 million.
Remember that this survey only took in the responses of around 1,000 people, so the conclusions drawn about the origins of 3 million consoles should be taken with a pinch of salt.
A PS3 hardware update was released today meaning that people will want to start entering those competitions again!

Het geeft tevens weer eens aan dat de PS3 overpriced was (is?), aangezien het leeuwendeel hem alleen tweedehands wilde/kon veroorloven.
