Hello there,
I post here just want to ask are there anyone would like to help for boatbuilding on a wwoof-farm near Oslo?
We are building a 12 meter boat, the design is from a very famous designer(Colin Archer). We will soon start to work on interior/upholstry, woodwork and sail-sewing.
We build the boat for sailing for fun in the future (to Middle Kingdom and further), so its not for commercial use! If you would like to volunteer for giving a helping hand it would be great! The volunteership is rewarded in another way around esp for those who like to learn how to build a boat and want to get some practical experience.
If you are interested, you are more than welcome to drop me a line.

Colin Archer lived in Larvik (Norway), also the hometown of the famous Thor Heyerdal 
and coincidentally of some distant family of mine. I am hooked on sailing, but count me out because I have two kids and a busy job and just don't have the time to build a boat. Good luck!

I was wondering: since you're writing about a location near Oslo, could it be that you're actually in Larvik?
unfortunately she is not being built in Larvik but north of Oslo - even if i wish it should have been Larvik.
There is a new film in production about Thor Heyerdahl or the Kontiki.. Thats a must see for every Heyerdahl fans! What a man!

Looking at the first pic: doesn't look like steel or wood, are you using aluminium ?
