Another question that comes to mind is: What are the Dutch like?
Physically we are tall, allthough there are some short people here as well.
Psychologically there are a lot of flavours. Yes we are tolerant, but the right wing is growing. Yes we aprove gay-marriage, but there are a lot of small villages where you'll be frowned upon when driving your car there on a Sunday. Yes we have given you mad cars like the Spyker and the Carver, but most of us go on a holiday with a caravan.
This topic is especially for you foreigners who would like to know more about The Netherlands and the Dutch. And we'll try to come up with the answers.

If you like, in this region you can combine a visit to Enkhuizen with a "Westfrisian journey through time" (travelling with an old steamtram from Hoorn to Medemblik, then taking the boat to Enkhuizen, and back home with regular train service).
