Quote " If you want to play GTA 4 on any laptop you need Dual Core CPU 2.0 GHz (minimum). Intel Atom is? definitely too weak. Of course it's possible to run GTA4 on this laptop, but with resolution 800 x 600 ald low details. Than GTA 4 looks like GTA 3... or worse ."
hier.
Quote: "Last weekend I installed GTA IV + EFLC on my brandnew Asus 1215N but it was running extremely choppy like slowmotion (even on 800x600 and everything minimized). The game was sadly unplayable. I've been a little disappointed, as I've seen GTA4 on Asus EEE 1201N.
Tonite I updated Bios 0503 and ION driver 260.63 Beta and hurrah: EFLC now runs on 1200x768 very fluently. I could race through the whole town without any stuttering. That's much more I ever expected and I'm quite happy now.
What still doesn't work is the Multiplayer. I could start the MP but was kicked because of a weak CPU.
I wonder if it could be possible with overclocking.
Anyone else playing the newer GTA-Series on 1215 already?
Update: Just started this Super Engine tool in Super Performance mode and managed to get into Multiplayer Free Mode! I 've been roaming there about 15 Minutes without being kicked. Fantastic!
I think this little beast has a lot of potential.
Next I want to upgrade memory.
I'm using an external USB-DVD-Player and naturally only Original Retail-Game-DVDs."
