X JAPAN's Official French website has confirmed that X JAPAN will perform live in Paris on October 10th, with more details to come on August 3rd.

While waiting for those details, we are also waiting for confirmation on X JAPAN's Official Japanese website

Today (23 aug), at X Japan Film Gig in Suzuka, Yoshiki and Toshi announced the postponement of two shows planned for this year - Paris and Osaka. They intend to release a new album with some old and some new songs as soon as possible and then restart the world tour.

UPDATE: According to JapanToday, Yoshiki revealed that "he has prepared his will given the risks involved with his spinal injuries, and that nearly one quarter of his assets will be used for the benefit of his long-term fans."

The article also talked about his health condition, stating that "... he revealed that he would have to get the disc replaced within the next three years, and that if nerve damage in his arm did not heal in the next two years, then it would be permanent. He said doctors cautioned him on his drumming practice which will resume next month, telling him not to raise his arms too high, not to twist his body left and right, and not to use anything heavier than one kilogram."

According to various Japanese newspapers X JAPAN will play at the Lollapalooza festival on the last day, which is the 8th of August. In his interview at the ACen festival on the 15th YOSHIKI also mentioned that they'll play on one of the main stages as the next to the last act. There will be a totally new song performed at the festival, named "Born to be Free", for which they'll start shooting a music video abroad (outside of Japan, presumably in the US) next month.

The Yokohama Nissan stadium concerts that were announced earlier this month are scheduled for 14th and 15th of August, the weekend after the Lollapalooza performance.
