bronquote:In the meantime, plenty of albums will be released featuring RedOne’s work. When he spoke to Pop & Hiss last Friday around 1 p.m., the producer shared his schedule leading into the weekend. The Backstreet Boys had the producer until 8 p.m., and then RedOne said he had about five hours scheduled with “Idol” runner-up Lambert.
“I want to go rock -- David Bowie and Queen, but make it more easy for people to get,” the producer said of his vision for Lambert. “It has to be rock, but with an interesting dance angle to it, you know? You’ll like it.”
RedOne said he hopes to record at least six songs with Lambert, but that doesn’t guarantee that they'll all make Lambert’s RCA debut (a Lambert representative was unable to be reached prior to posting). An “Idol” finalist comes equipped with a built-in fan base, and RedOne said he’s eager to play with people’s expectations.
“You know what I like about him? He’s fresh,” said RedOne. “You can go almost whatever direction with him. People know him from being on ‘American Idol,’ singing other people’s songs, but you can take him in a new direction, and this will be the first time you hear Adam Lambert with his signature. My goal is to get his signature out from him to the world.”

Apparently, this album WILL be released this summer, which we thought was VERY quick. However, we've just learned that the songs on it were recorded in 2007 and 2008, before Lambert was on American Idol.
It's being released by a label other than the one he signed to after he came in 2nd on the show.
Wonder what he thinks about a whole album of old material being released????
Will anybody buy it?????
quote:“Back in 2005 when I was a struggling artist, I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else. I was broke at the time and this was my chance to make a few bucks, so I jumped at the opportunity to record for my first time in a professional studio. The work I did back then in no way reflects the music I am currently in the studio working on. I’m thrilled to be working with some of today’s hottest songwriters and producers and can’t wait for people to hear what my music really sounds like.”
Rot voor Adam, maar ik ben blij dat dit niet het soort muziek is wat hij wil maken.quote:John Hecker, CEO of Hi Fi Recordings, said the tracks were recorded in 2007 and 2008 before Lambert’s rise on the popular Fox singing competition. The album will be titled “On with the Show.”"We were presented with a business opportunity,” said Hecker. “We accepted because Wilshire Records had a long working relationship with Adam, and it resulted in excellent music that they had the rights to. The music has an audience, and it deserves to be heard. I think it’s great music. At the end of the day, from my perspective, we’re really helping Adam.”
Voor degenen die niet weten wie hij is, Sam Sparro is misschien bij sommigen bekend van het lied 'Black and gold'.quote:On my way to songwriting session w the brilliant Sam Sparro!!
