Dit gaat inderdaad nergens meer over.
Ondanks het feit dat ik in Ponden mijn salaris ontvang en er dus echt niet blij mee moet zijn wordt het dan wel weer gecompenseert door enorme kortingen in de winkels.
Nietemin zit ik er toch wel over te denken om weer in NL aan de slag te gaan.

Btw: het zit zelfs nog steeds boven de target van de BOE (3%).

Aan de andere kant: zoals de inflatie de laatste jaren werd onderschat (door de manier waarop het CPI is samengesteld) wordt die nu overschat. Je kunt nu bijvoorbeeld aanzienlijk meer huis kopen voor je geld.

The PM and the Chancellor , both looking a year older every day, tell us that for their next trick they will buy more bank shares, create a giant insurance scheme for bad debt, pledge to honour liabilities without limit, cross their fingers and hope it all works. The phrase "bottomless pit" springs to mind for a reason: that is what they have designed.

Gordon Brown's nightmare, in which we are all trapped, is going to get much worse.
