But the wrestling bug bit the Los Angeles native in 2000, when she began training at the School of Hard Knocks in San Bernardino, Calif. She continued to work various wrestling shows, honing her in-ring abilities. In January 2002, Tom Prichard took notice of Melina, where she would work out with WWE while they were on the West Coast--sometimes driving 14 hours.
Her dream was finally realized in 2003, when WWE signed her in San Diego. Two Women's Championship reigns later, Melina is still a force to be reckoned with in the women's division. She credits the experience of training hard with both men and women for making her tougher and stronger. You simply must take the hits and keep on going.
"I was always told I was too short, too fat, too small, too ugly or not good enough. People would tell me every negative comment under the moon, and that I would never make it," Melina wrote in her WWE.com exclusive blog. "I kept going. I knew in my heart that I could make it, and that I was meant for this. My love for wrestling and my determination got me through all the crap I had to endure

The first wrestler ever to kick out of "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka's Superfly Splash, Dreamer is often considered the heart of ECW for his loyalty and devotion. He is best remembered for his long-term rivalries and classic matches with Sandman and Raven.
The 14-time WWE Hardcore Champion would have an integral role in the revival of ECW when he helped Paul Heyman book the inaugural One Night Stand. As soon as the ECW brand was back in full swing, Dreamer was there. It would be hard to ever imagine ECW without Tommy Dreamer.

Sadly, Murdoch's WWE career came to a close in July of this year when Vince and company let him go.
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/915/915780p1.htmlquote:While his looks may be deceiving, Cade is not your typical good ol' boy. The handsome Cade is a smooth talking southerner known for boasting about his intentions and then delivering on the goods.
Together with Trevor Murdoch, Cade came to Raw in September 2005. Almost immediately, the pair became World Tag Team Champions with a victory at Unforgiven. With a successful blend of sweet and sour, the duo seemed unstoppable.
Their harmony didn't last forever; they split up amicably and remained allies throughout their tenure as singles competitors. Soon enough, their paths crossed again, and the Southern duo once again rejoined Raw's tag team division.
Murdoch proclaimed it was just the beginning for the re-formed team, warning that when you make rednecks angry, bad things happen. Unfortunately for him, this was true, and when Cade became angry with their losing streak, a bad thing did happen. Cade turned on his friend, punching Murdoch out.
Since venturing out as a singles competitor, Cade has found himself under the wing of Chris Jericho and Jericho's new mindset in WWE, even joining the first-ever Undisputed Champion's moral battle against his former mentor Shawn Michaels. Will his alliance with Jericho see Cade rise to new heights, and perhaps find him holding singles gold sooner rather than later?

Signing Porter was not easy. Despite the fact that he had yet to step in a SmackDown ring, MVP was hyped by his agents as "the most talented free agent in the game," and he was in high demand from organizations all over the sports-entertainment world. Despite Long's requests, MVP made it clear that he wasn't getting in the ring until a contract was signed, because as MVP's saying goes, "no contract, no contact."
Porter is flashy and cocky, but he has been able to prove himself in the ring, winning multiple championships and defeating the likes of Kane, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair and Batista along the way.
MVP soon found himself tag team champions with Matt Hardy, the No. 1 contender to his United States Championship. Although the pair were not the best of friends, they made very effective champions, even though MVP constantly insisted that he was the entire reason for their success. Unfortunately for Matt, MVP's true motive for partnering with him was to keep him from challenging him in singles competition. When Matt pushed the issue, MVP double-crossed him and caused Matt a serious injury, forcing him to leave SmackDown once again. Upon his return, Hardy not only cost MVP the Money in the Bank match at WrestleMania XXIV, but inevitability the United States Championship as well.
MVP main goal seems to constantly prove that he is better than anyone who steps in the ring with him. He is a smooth talker at the mic, as evident as MVP hosts the VIP Lounge on SmackDown, and a force to be reckoned with any time he steps between the ropes
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/916/916145p1.htmlquote:During his career, he's been a Natural Born Thriller, a controversial icon and a Full-Blooded Italian. Now that Chuck Palumbo has returned to WWE, however, he's getting to be something else: Himself.
Just by looking at him, you'd never guess that the seemingly laid-back Californian's biggest passion outside the ring has to do with speed and two wheels. But even before his in-ring days began, Palumbo was fascinated with building and riding motorcycles.
Don't let that reserved look fool you, and don't think for a second that Palumbo's mind is elsewhere when he's in the squared circle. Chuck is a master inside the ring as well, something many current and former WWE Superstars have found out the hard way.
First coming to prominence in WCW in 2000, Palumbo teamed with his fellow Natural Born Thrillers to capture the WCW Tag Team Championship four times in the promotion's final year of existence. Having moved to WWE following the acquisition of WCW, Palumbo is also a multiple-time World Tag Team Champion.
Palumbo left WWE in 2005, moving on to wrestle in Japan and Italy (as well as spend more time working on his motorcycle craft) before finally returning in 2007. And with both of his passions merged, Palumbo sees even clearer the similarities between the two.
"Wrestling is an art form, as is building motorcycles," he says. "You have to have a vision of what the end product is going to look like, then craft it with your hands."
Hopefully, Palumbo's biggest masterpiece in both fields is still ahead of him

Big Daddy V would wrestle for the brand's championship, but he'd never attain it.
The Superstar was released from the WWE this past August.
quote:Armed with one of the most devastating finishing maneuvers in all of professional wrestling, the Widow's Peak, Victoria is one of the most vicious Divas in WWE history. Don't let her impeccable good looks fool you. She may be one of the hottest Divas around, but the vicious vixen's beauty is only matched by a mean streak that has helped drive her to two Women's Championships.
Victoria has also been a pioneer in the Women's Division. At WrestleMania XX she defeated Molly Holly in the first-ever Women's Division Hair vs. Championship Match. After defeating Holly to retain her gold, Victoria humiliated Molly in front of a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden by shaving her head.
Outside of the ring, Victoria has been involved in various programs, speaking on behalf of WWE's Smackdown! Your Vote program, encouraging the youth of America to exercise their right to vote. While Victoria has always stressed the importance of children to be physically active, she believes it is also imperative to get a good education. Victoria studied biology at several colleges: Riverside Community, Loma Linda University and UCLA. She worked at the Inland Eye and Tissue Bank in Redlands, Calif., for three years.
Victoria has also shown over the years that she feels that success should only come from hard work. She's a strong believer that nothing should be handed to you in life.
SIGNATURE MOVESquote:Carlito spits in the face of people who don't want to be cool, and apparently, many WWE Superstars fall into the category.
Exceptionally opinionated and full of himself, the second-generation Superstar (who is the son of the legendary Carlos Colon) projects quite the smooth demeanor. Armed with an apple in hand, Carlito isn't afraid to unload a mouthful of apple and spit it into your face if you're not cool enough in his eyes.
Of course, WWE Superstars haven't taken well to Carlito's cooler-than-thou attitude, which has oozed from the Caribbean native since his dramatic debut in October 2004, when he defeated John Cena for the United States Championship in his very first night on SmackDown.
Carlito found his voice in his own show when "Carlito's Cabana" debuted in 2005. Irritating and disrespectful to countless Superstars on the Cabana, Carlito maintained his spot as one of the most loathed Superstars on SmackDown
Hoorayquote:Every year, THQ and Yuke's put out a WWE game, and every year, fans piss and moan because the roster is out of date -- someone switched shows, someone won a championship, and so on.
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 gives you the power to shut up and fix any continuity errors.
Yes, via the Roster Editor, fans can pop into the game's roster and switch Superstars to whatever brand they like (Raw, SmackDown, ECW, Free Agent, Legend, or a special classification that's only available after being unlocked), swap titles, decide who is clean and who is dirty, as well as view stats and Abilities. In addition to the Roster Editor, SVR 09 packs a feature called Team Management. Here, you can create or destroy tag teams, give the duo a name, or add others to the stable.

Last seen carrying the ECW Championship in the Land of the Extreme, the self-proclaimed "raw-boned bastard that breaks things and moves the immovable objects" is one of the most dominant forces in sports-entertainment history. Returning from a 14-month hiatus, Big Show has once again engulfed WWE with his gargantuan paws and the goliath looks to wreak more carnage than ever before.
Reminiscent of Andre the Giant and Big John Studd before him, the pound-for-pound World's Largest Athlete is a feared competitor who can intimidate an opponent with his size and stare alone. Big Show's measurements are astounding: 441 pounds; 7-feet of raw girth and might; 22 EEEEE shoe size; 22 1/2 ring size and a 64-inch chest.
Big Show made his in-ring debut in WCW where he left a massive impression as The Giant, and captured the WCW Championship on two occasions, along with the WCW Tag Team Titles. The Giant had an immediate impact in WCW, focusing his attention on some of the biggest icons in the industry, from Hulk Hogan to The "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
In 1999, the mighty giant became a worldwide star upon signing with WWE. He continued to collide with Superstars of great renown and captured countless titles, including the WWE Championship. From "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to The Rock to Undertaker to Triple H, Big Show has battled and manhandled the top names in sports-entertainment.
