Samenvatting in videoclips van de jaren 90?quote:Eurodance is een stroming binnen de dance-muziek die sinds 1992 erg populair is in voornamelijk Europa, Oceanië en Zuid-Amerika. Destijds werd het genre door menigeen gewoon house genoemd.
De muziek kreeg haar naam omdat het erg populair was in Europa en vooral wordt geproduceerd in Duitsland, Zweden, België, Nederland en Italië. Los van de bekendere groepen zijn er honderden kleine Eurodance-projecten. De twee meest succesvolle groepen in dit genre waren het Belgisch/Nederlandse 2 Unlimited en het Nederlandse Vengaboys. Later werden het Belgische Lasgo, Milk Inc en Sylver populair.
