If the CW thinks that they can negotiate by giving the fans a 2 hour movie instead of a new season then thats what they will do.( CBS tried the same thing with Jericho fans and that just made them send more nuts until we got renewed.) Tell Dawn you want Veronica Mars renewed and will settle for nothing else. YOU MUST ALL BE UNITED IN ORDER FOR THIS TO WORK.

Be creative and polite when making your videos.(no threats or angry videos.) Be classy and mature you want Dawn and the CW suits to see you as valued viewers with an opinion that matters and not a bunch of kids who are throwing a fit because their show has been cancelled. THIS IS KEY!!!

Jericho was populair bij adverteerders en volgens mij is dat de enige reden die het netwerk nodig had. Jericho brengt geld in het laatje, dus mag nog even doorgaan. Zo zie ik het.

The CW has officially pulled the plug on Veronica Mars. Series creator Rob Thomas confirmed the news for me via e-mail just moments ago.
"I'm afraid I have to report that Veronica Mars is officially dead," he wrote. "At least in TV show form. There's really no way that it can happen now. I'm not sure the CW should've given the glimmer of hope. I think Dawn Ostroff genuinely would have liked to have continued on with a version of the show, but there was too much resistance around her. At the end of the day, it would've been kinder had the band aid simply been ripped off rather peeled away in than this agonizingly slow manner."
Ironically, the news comes just as Veronica Mars fans — emboldened by Jericho's 11th hour resurrection — are in the midst of bombarding The CW with thousands of Mars candy bars in advance of that June 15 deadline.
In light of this development, it might make sense to redirect those deliveries to Warner Bros.' feature division — specifically, the folks who would be responsible for greenlighting a Veronica Mars film. Just a thought. If you've got a better idea, by all means, post it below.

Ik neem nu even met jullie door wat jullie nu kunnen voelen:
Shock: een directe reactie op het verlies van VM, samen met een aantal psychische en emotionele problemen die zich praktisch automatisch gaan voordoen. Dit zijn allemaal manieren om de pijn tijdelijk uit te schakelen zodat het verlies langzaam maar zeker verwerkt kan worden.
Depressie: kan voorkomen onder de vorm van: verstoorde nachtrust, vermoeidheid, een daling van het concentratievermogen, een verandering in eetlust en het gevoel dat niets de moeite is om nog in leven te blijven.
Woede: kan deel uitmaken van een agressieve reactie die zich uit ten opzichte van Dawn Ostroff, Rob Thomas, iedereen van The CW, Amerikaanse kijkers, Amerika in het algemeen.
Opluchting: kan volgen als je vond dat Veronica Mars zelfdestructief bezig was
Schuldgevoel: komt vaak voor als het gevoel dat je iets had moeten doen, bijvoorbeeld geld doneren of Dawn Ostroff online vaker een hoer te noemen.
Verder wil ik graag wat tips met jullie delen, hoe wij nu samen verder moeten:
- Het volhouden van contacten met anderen is zeer belangrijk gedurende de eerste stressvolle maanden na de dood van Veronica Mars. Vrienden en familieleden zullen zich echter ongemakkelijk voelen en niet goed weten hoe de situatie aan te pakken, daarom is het verstandig om, als echte Veronica Mars fan, de eerste stap te zetten en om hulp te vragen, op die manier helpt men ook anderen.
- Wanneer men er klaar voor is, is het een goede zaak om je gevoelens betreffende het pijnlijke verlies te delen met familie en vrienden. Men moet er wel steeds rekening mee houden dat elke persoon zich anders voelt, anders denkt en anders reageert.
- Er bestaat een kans dat men zich een tijd schuldig zal voelen vooraleer men kan aanvaarden dat men geen schuld treft. We zijn slechts mensen met menselijke gebreken.
- Meestal verminderen schuldgevoelens door de jaren heen, alhoewel sommige gevoelens en vragen soms onopgelost blijven. Herkennen hoe men zich het best kan aanpassen om deze problemen te verwerken kan het verwerkingsproces doen vorderen:

Kristen Bell is finding it tough to let go of Veronica Mars, the wisecracking teenage TV sleuth she portrayed for three seasons.
Asked what she would miss most about the character, Bell didn't hesitate: "Other than everything?"
"It feels sort of like graduating high school. You really only recognize how special it was once it's gone away," Bell told The Associated Press in a recent phone interview.
"And of course everyone graduates from different jobs then they move on, but I don't know I'll find as special a show ever again," the 26-year-old actress said. "I think I'm only truly realizing that now."
The show, which was ratings challenged but a cult hit, was canceled May 17. Bell, though, hasn't given up all hope just yet.
The network, she said, has until June 15 to tell the show's producers whether it might be brought back as a midseason replacement.
CW spokesman Jeff Tobler confirmed the June 15 deadline.
Even if "Veronica Mars" doesn't make it back onto the small screen, Bell says she would be happy to reprise her role in a feature film.
"I'm game. I would work for (`Veronica' creator)
Rob Thomas again in a heartbeat," she said. "Not just because of his brilliance, but because he's a great guy."
Critics loved "Veronica Mars" from the get-go, praising Bell's whipsmart heroine, the show's take on high-school politics and the portrayal of Veronica's relationship with her father (Enrico Colantoni).
Set in the fictional seaside town of Neptune, Calif., Bell's character tackled the ups and downs of high-school life while solving crimes. The just-completed third season shifted Veronica and her pals to nearby Hearst College. She still solved crimes and battled authority, but the ratings woes continued.
While Bell's old show doesn't have a place in the fall, her new one does.
She's providing the voice of the narrator (something she also did on "Veronica") for the CW's new "Gossip Girl." The show centers on a group of prep-school teenagers in Manhattan.
Meanwhile, Bell is in Hawaii filming "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," a comedy produced by Judd Apatow ("The 40 Year-Old Virgin," "Knocked Up"). She plays the title character.
The actress says she is enjoying the adult humor and improvisational nature of an Apatow production.
"It's not that cliched romantic comedy where boy meets girl," she said. "Nothing is really cliched in this movie. It's all very real."
