Well, first i have to say this was my 10 Iron Maiden concert, i've seen them since 88, and i had big expectations, cause i love Dance of Death and i think the setlist was good.

The travelling from Lisbon to Madrid (650km) was awful, as we got stuck in traffic and then got lost in Madrid. We were all fed up with the journey and when we got ther the show had started earlier so Iron Maiden were allready playing Dance of Death, the song. I realised we had lost 4 songs and started to get even more pissed off.
The sound when i got in the hall was not that good, we could only hear Steve's bass above all the rest. It got better afterwards. By the way i catch Bruce's dance in the end and it was nice.
Splendid version of Rainmaker, but i was not with right adrenalin, i wasn't there from the start .
In Lord of the flies, Bruce sang very low and was keep forguetting the lyrics, he had them on the floor but it was the same thing. No more lies was very good, but he forgot the last verse. The work from the rest of the guys was fantastic.
By that time i noticed a problem cause Bruce wouldn't come to front stage, i don't know if it was a sound problem or a audience problem, maybe he couldn't hear his voice out in the front, i don't know, and he was always in the back and somelines he sang in backstage, well that's unusual for him, and he never talked to the audience, no scream for me Madrid this time. In Hallowed he even spoke to Janick because he was trying to convice him to be at the front, was i the only one who saw this??? He sang the song but never carried his voice, know what i mean? He would sing running low and stoped and the people would carry on loooooow, sorry but i don't know how to say it in english, and before the solos he did not say Scream for me Madrid, as usual, by that time i thought there was a problem with Steve cause he was always front stage. But i don't think it was that now. Fear of the Dark came and i swear he was just mumbling through some parts of the song. And his voice was just not up to it, again he let the audience sing all the chorus sometimes.
In Journeyman finally he talked to the audience sayng thank you for making Dance of Death the biggest Iron Maiden album in Spain, i'm not spanish, but, way to go Spain.
Nice version of Journeyman, now if only you spanish guys could talk english it would be a lot better.

In conclusion, i didn't quite get to the feeling of the gig cause i was late, but i don't think i was the only one who noticed problems with Bruce's performance.
I've seen them doing better and i know i will see them do better again, the stage set is fantastic, the guys were great, Adrian you rock, and Bruce before Journeyman said they will do much more albums.
